I can't really recommend you a good one, but if you torrent, stay the hell away from Comcast.

If you're moving to a major city, check out Verizon's FiOS.

I have Mediacom. They're complete shit, avoid at all costs.
Apparently Roadrunner is meant to be a good service, depending on where you're moving to.

Optimum FTW. You can get ridiculously fast internet, advanced cable, and phone for $100-$150 a month.

New Wave's 10mb cable is pretty good, I don't have it, unfourtunately, but a buddy of mine has it, I think he pays like 55 bucks a month for it. It's awesome.

Do not get Cable Lynx, it is horrible. It's fast, but it will disconnect you for no reason and they're Customer Support people are just plain rude and they get attitudes with you. I bet half of the people here have never even heard of Cable Lynx( I have it through my local Cable, since I can't get At&t where I live).

Get Verizon Fios. It's the best service and has the fastest internet. The power supply to my router broke at like at 6pm one day, I gave them a call and they sent me a new one free of charge and I received it the following dt at 4pm. It was great. I highly recommend. :D

Comcast gets my vote. I find it much more reliable than most companies.
I couldn't give you a price, but you can get the internet for cheaper if you get cable and phone through them.

Verizon has always worked well for me, whether it's just playing in somebody else's room or hosting my own.
