Year of the xbox?

I think this year is defiantly the year of the 360;

We already outsold GTA on the 360
360 had a price drop
Even biggerprice cut
Xbox Exclusives this year:

Halo wars
Gears of War 2
Fable 2
2 Downloable episodes on GTA
Splinter Cell Conviction
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Too Human
Left 4 Dead

Well it all sounds good but I'm praying Blue Dragon 2 comes out near the end of this year although I'd be hoping for a lot.

I ain't a fan boy but the PS3 ain't really showing much for me this year .. ok it has mgs4 .. but what else? lol. Smash bros brawl will keep me playing on my wii all year round :D

It doesn't matter though, since the 360 is a cheaper gaming platform. In terms of pure economics, it's the better choice.

Especially in the current climate, people are thinking more about what they spend their money. Why spend more on a PS3, when the only real bonus you get is to be able to play MSG4? The 360 has way more decent exclusives, and then it can also play all of the games the PS3 doesn't have exclusivity over.

I think it's up for grabs still but the Xbox 360 has a good shot. Hopefully Halo Wars will be good.

I doubt it. Unless Sony can pull something together at E3, this is definitely not their year.

Which is funny, because back in January everyone thought it would be.

Sony have Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2 and Killzone 2, as you can see, Killzone and Motorstorm are next year, and Resistance coming this year, but knowning Sony's track record, that's probably in 2 years time.

I played a bit for the original Killzone, and i actually quite liked it. It was supposed to be Sony's answer to Halo or something. It's a good game though, and i've seen some stuff on the second one, and it's shaping up quite nicely.

Still, if it's not going to come out this year, then it's not going to help them :P
