2 red lights gone, now the colour is weird?

So yeah i go to play my xbox, 3 days after hitting 2 red lights, it sounds like it's trying to take off it's making bad noises. And also, the colours are terrible, it looks like someones fucked with them.

So is it true? My Betsies dead?

P.S. I have a year warranty with my xbox, if it gets red light what do i do? Etc.

You sure your not just paranoid? those images look pretty much fine well maybe not the second one but that just looks like it would be the theme.

Ring microsoft and tell em your problem then you will have to send it to microsoft and it will take 3-4 weeks for this problem to be fixed :)

:whs Except it might not take 3-4 weeks for them to fix it. I sent my Xbox in last Tuesday and the UPS website says that my Xbox should be at my house on Thursday and that it's on time. So it took a little over a week to fix mine. So it might not take that long. But call them up and then send it in.

That's the 1 red light that is the cable issue.

Santa,

Two Red Rings means that your system is overheating. My suggestions are to 1) make sure your system is in an open area so it gets plenty of space to expel heat, 2) occasionally take breaks, to let your system cool down, and 3) buy a cooler. If none of these work, try calling Microsoft, they might be able to fix it. Good luck!

I think you're being slightly paranoid aswell. The RROD may of just messed with your colours a bit or glitched your background. Check the Vidya settings and change the background to see if it looks any different.

Of course there's always the slight chance that it overheated enough to fuck up your GPU, but then there'd be artifacts, not colour problems.

I apologise, the tv had done something so the colours were messed up, but now i can't play for any length of time without getting 2 red lights, so i'm thinking of sending it back.

you tried any of the anti heat things mentioned above, try them before you send it..

also make sure ur power brick is somewhere ventilated etc because that can cause 2 lights.
