So yeah, i got a red light, the thing we all hear about and i thought i'd never get. But i need help, its' 2 rings, and i want to know what to do. Heres the info;

Febuary 26th got my Xbox
Febuary 27th i got it for a present
Today the xbox has just got 2 red lights, it scared the shit out of me, so what is the procedure for it? I have it unplugged and it's sitting there now.

I think you might have the 360 hooked up to the TV wrong. Check the cable that runs to the TV. I doubt it has anything to do with the RRoD, thank goodness. I have had it twice and I barely play.

Two red lights means overheating, so just wait until the xbox has cooled down. Make sure your xbox is horizontal and in a well ventilated place and it shouldn't really happen again.

It can also mean your xbox is on its way to the RRoD, only time will tell.

It started off with 2 RRoD, it kept on appearing after playing about an hour of my game, shutting off while I was playing.

Then the day came, I got 3 RRoD.

try moving ur power brick to somewhere cooler cause it could be around other things that heat up (your TV for example) if that dosnt work try calling microsoft or something like that
