Does anyone else get annoyed with them, I have 1 more achievement to go on time shift, and then all of a sudden i found out they have download able content achievements, and i really dont want to buy MS points for $30, just so i can get 100%, i don't know what people do when they borrow a game like this and find out it has DLC. I dont want to waste $30 on MS points and download maps and whatnot for it when in a month ill probably trade it in.

I thought the maps were 300 MS which is only £3 which i think is $5. If you like the game do it, no one is forcing you to download it.

You can get 1000 without DLC in Beautiful Katamari. You just can't get 100%.

i hate games which have this especially if the DLC isnt going to be free (gears was alright because became free) its just the develpopers trying to sell more DLC by giving an insentive of achivements because the DLC aint good enuf to sell itself.

It really depends, but overall i don't mind them. I feel it's stupid when the developers release DLC that costs MS points for a game that no one plays anymore, such as timeshift. I'm never going to complain about an extra 250 points, especially if the DLC is free, but if i have to pay a hefty price for some crappy MP maps and a few achievements then i get pissed off....A great example would be stranglehold.

Exactly. It really all just depends on the game. I still wonder how games barely played get DLC and games that deserve it never get it.

I like it for games I own obviously. It gives me incentive to keep playing the game regardless of how much the content costs. It sucks for rented games a lot of the time because you don't know when they're going to release DLC and it's silly to just buy the DLC for achievements assuming it's the map pack variety. It has its pros and cons but they're just points. If it's content you want great, if not then no sweat.

I live in Australia, and the maps are 800MS points, I can only buy 1500MS points which is a total, of $30.

Try getting 100% in Stranglehold, then you'll know what frustration is. That games extra 250 GS over the 1000 that comes outta the box will set you back 1200 Billy Bux. Fuck that.
