What I am trying to ask is this...
I have had my Xbox 360 Arcade version hooked up to the livingroom 42in plasma HDTV
I got tired of being in the middle of a game and im hooking it up to a 27in SDTV in my room.
Should I use the HD cables but switch them to SD or should I just use the SD Cable?

Just use the scart cable and set it to SD instead of HD and you should be fine. If you're using a HDMI cable though, obviously there won't be an input for that on an SDTV, and therefore you'll have to switch back to standard leads. Hope that helps.

Its not like the picture quality is going to be any better if you use the HDMI cable set to SD. You might as well use the Standard SD cables.
