Hayes level Glitched.

Well I borrowed this game from my friend just to nab' the easy achievements.
I got pretty far into the game, and in my arrogance of auto-save in just assumed there would be one. So I had to go a few levels back, which really did annoy me. So I decided to cheat up to that level, and then carry on with it all non cheating. But I got to the level with Hayes in it again - and I had cheated to get the Machine Gun before hand on 999 bullets, but for some reason when I enter the room I don't get the normal conversation with him, and he just runs down to the edge, and when I try to talk to him, he just goes on how he can't get any closer.
So I went to kill the two Dinos and went up to that area by the fire, and set the grass below on fire. But for some reason, he never comes up to give me the Machine Gun, and just stands a level below and the Rex which is supposed, to come around to the top area, where Hayes is supposed to be standing, just stands behind this rock and even when I unload everything into it, It dosen't die at all. I tried to do the level over again, but I can't because it just loads my save into that level. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Would I just have to delete my data of the game from cache?

I used a method I saw in another thread. Restart your xbox, load your profile and enter the cheat for pistol. Thats straightened everything out.

i have that same problem too it is soo werid i wanna throw the xbox.. cuase i keep restarting it and it wont happen and i dont wanna play this gay game over blaaaaa...hhh

i did what you told me and hayes did the convo and he jumped down but after that the dino stould there can you help

It could be a glitch from using the cheats, but having the machine gun already shouldn't be a problem as you don't need to use it to kill the Rex. I used the shotgun, and didn't realise Hayes had a machine gun until after I had killed the Rex

HOW TO GET THIS LEVEL COMPLETED
Soooo, here we go.
1. Turn off your XBOX, then turn it on and go onto King Kong, sign in and on the main menu do this:
Hold LB + RB + LT + RT and press Down, Up, Y, X, Down, Down, Y, Y.
Then type in:
KKtigun
2. Go into the waterfall and when the 2 dino's appear go back.
3. When they have gone up the rock thing go back and find the arc. Then go in the water up the stairs and set fire to the grass by Hayes.
4. Then Go back to Hayes and the camera man and talk to Hayes, he will pass you a tommy gun. At this point don't give a crap about the Dinosaur behind the rock, its retarded and has to take special medicine.
5. Now kill the two Dinosaurs and find the Stake in the wood near the waterful.
6. Put the stake in the big wood thing by the door, (What you usually have to do).
7. Now Hayes will come and help you spin the door, now what the game didn't tell you is that Hayes is Magic and he will dissapear now. Or is it an illusion? I don't know and don't give a crap. You will see the camera man standing still, this is because he caught the retards off the dinosaur. Now go through the door you just opened and go to the right and go down the river. the camera man and Hayes are now invisible and stalking you, no need to get scared they arn't going to rape you. When you get to the end you will have completed the level. I must admit, this level is the most magical in the game.
