If you could go back in time

If you had the chance to go back in time to a certain time/date/year etc... What time would you go back to? Why that time? And it has to be in your lifetime, and everything that you know now, you won't remember if you go back, you will have to learn it again. Would you even go back at all???

I'm just curious to see what people will put.

Personally I would go back to the end of the summer after 6th Grade, so that would be around August/September 2005 when 7th grade started. That was my favorite school year ever. I had the funniest people in my classes and some cool teachers. But I kind of messed up a couple relationships that year. I did some really stupid things and got 3 close friends to stop talking to me until next year. Now I wish I didn't mess all that up because I recently started talking to them a lot freshmen year and I missed a lot by not hanging out with them. Plus 2 of em are chicks who and they are FINE!!!:woop:I really liked one of them but I guess I fucked my chances with her.

So where would you guys want to go back to???

If I couldn't remember anything then I wouldn't, but if I could I would say after my senior year, so I could change a few things that I did to my girl that got her pissed off. I have no idea what I did that got her pissed off at me, but I wouldn't do it again thats for sure.

Noble intent, but inadvertently you might screw up the time line continuum and make things worse. A butterfly's wing can change a lot of things, and that is small in comparison to a President ;)

Now, what would I do? I'd probably go back to when I started High School. Those four years went fast and I really didn't enjoy them as much as I could of(besides academic stuff).

I would go back about six years and take my two yr old daughter with me so that my Grandma, who has alzhemiers, could meet my daughter and understand who she is. She started forgetting who everyone was when I was pregnant so she doesn't know that she has a great grand daughter or even who I am. I would love to have that time again if I knew all that was going to happen.

If I could go back in time I would go back to when I began high school. I would put in one hell of an effort into everyone of my classes, and make better choices for after high school.

One MAJOR flaw with most of your ideas. Those of you who want to go back in time and stop something from happening is impossible.

If you went back to stop it from happening it would therefore not have happened, therefore not motivating you in the future to go back and stop it so you would create a time paradox and would fuck up the space time continuum resulting in limbo for you between the future and the past.

June 2005, Paris, France: I went to the Château de Versailles. Sat in the back courtyard staring out onto the sunet over the ENOURMOUS garden. For those 20 minutes, all my problems and worries were non existant. I think that was easily the most serene and blissful moment I've had. Any other moment like that had something lingering in the back of my mind.

Theres different types of time travel you know. Theres paradox time streams and non paradox time streams. Timelines and alternate timelines etc, theres no way to say that the time you live in is definite.
