Facebook will be forced to shutdown in 7 days, I don't know how true this is or if it's even true. Just thought I would post this link so you can read what all is going on and why Facebook might get shut down. You all probably don't care, but I like Facebook, and I don't wanna see it get shut down. It probably won't, but you never know.

Well I don't use Myspace, way WAY worse than Facebook. But I use Facebook to chat with friends over the summer that I don't usually see during the summer. I don't really use it that much, but I still like going to it every once and a while.

You do know that that is just scaremongering, if it was in danger would you not have seen a more formal way of putting it across not some group. If you search for news on the internet it should show something up about this but it doesn't.


I don't like facebook or any other social networking website but I have heard about messages on Bebo that say if you don't send this message on you will be deleted and shit like that, people just like to get people scared and worried that a site they love is going to shut down.

Dude I'm not an idiot, why because I joined a group. I didn't give any of my info out, so I'm not an idiot. Can I help it that it says somebody is getting sued and Facebook might shut down, so I joined the group. No need for you to comment. ;)

This can also be locked since everybody wants to make smart comments and never believe anything they see.

Edit: I even wrote in the first post, that I didn't know if it was true or not. I just thought I would let some of the people who use facebook know.

Even if it were true, it would be a matter of law. A Facebook support group with a lot of members will have no effect on the outcome. (Similarly, forwarding an email to all your friends will not save the life of a terminally ill little girl)

Well you don't have to join the group, I was just putting the link up so you can see everything that is going on legally over Facebook. And I was just merely letting people know that Facebook might get shut down. Didn't make the thread just so people would join the group, I could care less if you joined the group.

Also if you read my first post, I didn't say anything about joining the group will help, just letting fellow Facebook users know what's going on.

I'm not criticizing you about this. But think about this logically, how many times has MySpace been sued? Many, many times. Stalkers, pedophiles, etc. A lawsuit doesn't mean that a popular website is going to be shut down unless the Facebook did something illegal, which they most likely did not.

I respect your opinion also, like I said earlier, I don't know if it was gonna get shut down or not or if it's true or not. I didn't say join the group will help either, also didn't ask anybody to join the group. I just posted the link for people to see what all is going on.

Yeah, Facebook is a business. The last I heard was that Yahoo was trying to buy it for a billion dollars but the people at Facebook denied it. I'm sure it'll be in the "news" if/when the website sells. MySpace was the same way.
