I sometimes wonder if any of you kids leave the xbox or compy long enough to do anything else, sometimes i find myself having a hard time stopping playing as well, but what are you kids reading in the real world?
Currently I'm working on "Breakfast of Champions" by Kurt Vonnegut.

I'm reading your post, what did you think i was reading?
I'm not really a reader but the last book i read was HEAT 6 months ago, the only reason being because it wasn't on sparknotes :(. Every book assigned through school i usually sparknote unless i find it interesting and am willing to sacrafice time to read it....which usually isn't the case.

Black Hole by Charles Burns
Its a very weird graphic novel that I am reading for my Technical Writing class.
I'm not reading anything educational or sophisticated. It's comical actually, and plenty of pictures, illustrations, biased views and glorifying (sp?) Britain comments.
Al Murray: The Pub Landlord - Book Of British Common Sense.
I'd type up the blurb, but it does a bit of minor bashing on France and Germany... :p

Currently going through Johnny Got His Gun, by Dalton Trumbo. It's the inspiration for Metallica's "One", but I'm not going to lie, I absolutely hate it. It came out in 1939, a time in which they apparently had no punctuation, so paragraphs are just single run-on sentences.
Currently I'm working on "Breakfast of Champions" by Kurt Vonnegut.
Have you read Hocus Pocus? I found that one in my mom's collection, and it was great.

I'm currently reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
Reading this sentence on the back;
"It’s just a small story really, about among other things: a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. . . ."
Had me hooked, a tough read apparently, I'm hoping I can read it all the way through!

Just got done reading 'Punk Rock Dad' and am currently reading 'Is belief in god good, bad or irrelevant?'
I'm currently reading http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51iJP4rolHL._SL160_AA115_.jpg. It's a very interesting story about a world where superheroes (and supervillains) are quite ubiquitous and not that unlike regular people. Very funny and will give a charge to any true comic book fans.

I just finished Russell Brand's autobiography.
I absolutely hate that lad, but everyone kept telling me his book was really interesting. It wasn't. And he writes likes he talks which really annoyed me.
I'm going to start Hitchhiker's Guide... now. I've always wanted to read it, but never got around to it.

Get Backers
Although it's volume 27 I recall.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of reading big books because well...all of 'em people told me to read were crap, and school forcing you to read books doesn't make you like it.
Before that I was reading harry potter 4 but I lost track of page so didn't want to start over or start "around this spot".
So, I read comics/manga's mostly, if you call that reading (which I do).
Last book otherwise was "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller (go go English exam).

Other than that I am reading the manga to-LOVE-ru...
I just finished Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay and am now working on Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
So was the last one as horrible as I've heard? He's not actually messed up, he's just possessed by some ancient Sumerian big baddie? Ugh. I *love* the Showtime series and I was thinking of starting the read the books but now I'm not so sure.
