Boosting for Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic?

I have recently been reading posts over the forums of people asking other people to boost for this achievement and I have also been hearing people talk about boosting for this over XBOX LIVE and I was just wondering how do you boost for this achievement?

I hope its not the same as getting your friends into a ranked Co-op game by simply booting other players until your friend joins because I have heard there is a "proper" way of doing this so if anybody knows how tell me please I have been going for this achievement for ages.

You juts go into a ranked matches at the same time as your friend and hope you get in the same match. When you do, you just let one another win the race that they need to.

ROFLMAO........easier are you serious. No you can't be serious. I hope you don't think winning all cannonball races and free races are easier to do legit than boosting.

if you take the time to actually get good at races then it does get easier to win as you get closer to finishing the achievement... the time spent trying to get in a game with your friend could be used practicing a particular map...

Well I boosted and it took no more than 2 days. Doing it legit would take like days to get.

More like a month or two.

From my understanding, the way matchmaking works is, that it goes purely by your TrueSkill rank. Say your TrueSkill is 15, you can only get matched up against those above or below by 1, in other words, people with either 14 or 16 as their TrueSkill rank.

So in other words, if you want to boost, you would need someone above or below your TrueSkill rank by one, and once you find someone, you than have to get lucky and than search for each other just like every other game mode. Unfortunatly, this isn't an easy game to boost in, you either have to do it yourself, or just get lucky and boost.

I've also heard that it's much easier to find each around midnight or early morning, so if your trying to find each other, I would reccomend you do it around that time. Also, don't quote me on the matchmaking, it's only what I've have heard and through my expierences.

I did this legit and took me about 20-30 hrs, almost as long as getting 100% in story.,.,.,but prolly not as long as getting to level 10

Wow... i jus can't do it cuz its hard as hell to race cuz i always mess up sumwhere. Plus freakin 16 ppl mess me up and that pisses me off!!

I think the hardest part is probably the GTA races ...

I have won every (regular) Race and I can confirm that you really need both - good driving skills and luck !! Especially on boat races cause you have to be lucky to start from the first row - otherwise it's almost impossible to win, because people dont mess up in the water ... The helicopters have been pretty easy for me, but I have to admit that I have a lot of experience in flying choppers in any GTA game and I know that lots of people have problems controlling the annihilator ... The cars have been not that easy for me simply because you get booted a lot of times just for choosing a non-popular track that you still need for that achievement. People start immediately to scream/talking about your mother/calling you Ni***r or J*w and this is really not funny at all ... (actually I am a jew and when somebody is trying to insult me like that my face turns dark red and I really want to see this guy in real life if you know what I mean ...).

But now I have to do the GTA races and I yesterday I experienced a method of boosting that was totally new, at least for me ...
I ran into a group of french guys , about 6 people, and somehow they managed to get together in one lobby pretty often. And then they started kicking people off until one of them became the host. Then they chose the track they needed to do and when the race started only one of them was actually racing. The other 5 took strategic points around the track and started to mess people up, killing them with rocket launchers, driving in false direction directly into somebody and practically acted like a swat-team ... On Stars in your eyes they even took the bus and blocked the road for everybody, but when the guy who should win the race came the bus-driver backed up so that he was able to drive through the barrier ...
I played for about three hours and everytime I ran into these guys it was absolutely impossible to win, because you really can't do anything when 5 people on the track are trying to kill you.

If this will be the new way of boosting then it will take a looooong time until I will get the AWP achievement because I'm actually doing it all by myself ...

Not too many people know how to boost for this game. That and you have to find someone who is near your TrueSkill.

Usually, if you need a specific track, the best thing to do is keep joining games until your host, and constantly tell people to ready up when they're in. Also for street races, try making it a vehicle that no one ever uses, like 4-door, or people carriers.

If it isn't a Supercar/Motorcycle race, people usually don't know which is the fastest car, but don't be suprised if people try to kick you.
