You can always ask for a sig there are a lot of people who can make you one

Some people like to use proper grammar as well :). Anyway, just head over to the gallery, find a picture from the interwebz, put it in your post and ask them to make a sig out of it. Hopefully they shall get around to it soon.

Why waste time with sigs? First thing I do on a forum is turn them off. It makes the pages load faster, and there's less crap to skip over when looking for content.

I'm sure some people have some useful/funny sigs, but I guess I just don't know what I'm missing ...

they look good, interesting, fun to make, good to see if someone is creative.
if you really want your page to load that 2 seconds faster youre pretty sad in my opinion..
