The key is to kill as many goons as possible before entering one of the areas that moves you into a cutscene... You'll also likely need 100 Orb Spark kills, which you can get if you save up your energy and use it when you run into the goblins attacking your backups when heading to the final confrontation of the level... This level took me 13 tries to get an A ranking BTW... I really like this game but I suck terribly at it!

Are you killing all the bad guys on the map? I got "S" rank on the level and it took me around 25 minutes but I made sure I killed ALL of them.

If you're a level 9 then it really shouldn't be that hard. Just equip your best weapon and accessories that increase your attack and range to insure you kill as many as possible and as quickly as possible with each combo.

Thanks Arrow! My last avatar got banished, so I had to come with something fresh...
Back on topic, as I said, it took me an ungodly 13 tries to get an A ranking on this mission. Find out where the cutscenes occur (If someone can get me a map I'll mark the spots for you) and then avoid those areas, killing all straggling enemies, preferably in big groups to get a high combo. Get all the chests you possibly can (again, if you can get me a map, I'll mark the positions). The x-factor for me were spark kills. I did the same thing a couple times and kept getting B's... Then one game I did everything I had previously, except got 100-some-odd spark kills and got an A. I've just finished Myifee's missions w/ all S's (1st or second tries) and I can assure you that the mission in question here is the most frustrating of the first 3 stories. The only thing that comes close is the Castle w/ Aspharr, but if you figure out the rhythm there, you're good to go.

How to get a high ranking isn't just about kills...
You need to get a high combo (Shoot for at LEAST 1,501 if you can)
Also explore all areas and get all chest items. If you have something like a clover use that to have enemys drop more items. The amount of items you pick up is also a factor in your final grade/rank
Try to personally kill 100% of enemies
Tip: Get archers for left and right. They'll get your back, but won't get that many kills. Also they're away from danger since they use ranged attacks.
Guard Survivial percentage effects your score so make sure not to let anyone get past you, and look out for attacks from the rear.
Take out wizards first, then Pwuks, Orcs, and archers. The goblin infintry will usually concentrate on you. (If they get the chance)
You get more points for a large number of spark (blue guage) kills than you do for a large number of regular kills.
Near the end when you're about to fight Dwykfarrio (depending on how good of a job you did defending the rest of your allies) there a few knights along the path (red clothes, look a bit like Heppe) you should be able to take control of them by hitting left and right bumbers (just like when you play as the priest)
Hope that helps some. Happy Hunting http://forums.filefront.com/images/smilies/_runaway.gif

I haven't gotten that far yet, but when I do, and assuming you're still struggling I'll try to help you out... I should have this figured out within the next 2 days.
