Maps GONE!?

okay well i jus got my xbox back from repairs from RRoD, and my bro tried to play the new h3 maps and there not letting him , i bought the maps on my account and it dosent work on his help?

I could be very wrong but i thought they changed the license agreements so that couldn't happen.

I think you can only play those maps on your account.

I'm sure JDM will pop in soon and give us all the correct answer as well as expand my range of knowledge on xbox related topics.....Like this one ;)

If you go to Xbox Marketplace Blade--> Account Management --> Recent Downloads, a list of ALL your downloads will appear. There you can happily re-download what ever you want.

Also, whatever you download on an account, can not be accessed by ANY OTHER ACCOUNT, like you brothers.

thanks but u didnt read the topic ^^^ I HAVE THE MAPS ON MY ACCOUNT, so i cant do the recent downloads thing but be4 i sent my box to M$ it worked perfectly on my bros account

It's a DRM issue. Content you download is tied to both your console, and your gamertag. So for other people to play your content, the console your using must be tied to your gamertag. It's a lot less complicated than it sounds.

To transfer all your previous licenses to your new console, go here and follow the instructions:

but this happens with arcade games, went over a friends and he tryed playing on my hdd on one of my arcade games and it would only let him play the trial, what we done to get around it was, first i would sign in and load the game up then once the game was up sign out and then sign in on my mates profile and he could play the full version :)

If you have a memory unit try picking that as storage device? for some odd reason I can't play the Halo 3 maps unless I pick my MU if I pick my HD they don't appear :(
