Stuck at two star Ranking

ok so iv maxed out my bar for the 2 star ranking . . . .and im not going anywhere . .iv done about 10 battles since its been full and i never get the the french mission that i think it is . . . is there a certain number of french missions u need to do??

Just keep grinding away...I had full bars on 2, 3, and 4 star fame for HOURS before I jumped to the next level...currently at 950 GS with 75 hours played....there seems to be a certain number of scripted events that occur before progression...sometimes the fastest way to speed these along is to hop into a hard fight, grab a unit you haven't leveled up yet and go commit suicide...

thats the only pproblem then ive got all the books so far levelled up quite a bit cos iv been swapping back and forth. . . . . would it justg work if i wennt in and retreated??

Can't imagine why not...gettin' killed is counted as "Retreat" by the game. Not sure if there's any way to determine which storyline will start or progress each time, but, from what I've seen, there are ALOT of them.
