because of two completely different factors (many negative "professional" reviews and a personal review from someone on youtube) I'm not sure if i should get the game. What're your thoughts?

Definitely rent it, and only then if you do not get frustrated easily. I wouldn't call it as frustrating as Ninja Gaiden, but there more than a few areas of the game that will make you pray for death rather than attempt that section for the 20th time. iF you can stomach the rage that will come, then you'll be able to get the full 1000 in relatively short order.

it's a good test for your patience, you'll probably swear like a sailor at it at times. It can be fun at times too so it's not all bad, I wouldn't recommend a purchase though since it's best to rent it.

well i never rent games. mainly because i live in a rural area and the only 2 shops within this area that rent games have either ridiculous prices or no good games and i never really get frustrated at games because even if i get pissed i just calm down an try again

I got that im just saying that it really has nothing to do with the game other then that yes I had high expectations for the game and I did get let down. Now if it had someone smashing the disk or putting into a micro wave now that would be dead on lol. Still a good vid :)

well if you live in a rural area then I say get it that way when you scream your head off after some of the driving and just down right stupid glitches no one will call the cops;)

Gamefly man, gamefly. It's paid for itself easily for me. I've saved A LOT of money because of it. Plus you can keep a game if you like it and they'll send you the box and instructions. The prices are also good.


Just in case you were wondering, I don't work for Gamefly, I just like it a lot.

no, rent is all this one deserves. the inventory isnt near as bad as some say, just use the d-pad, but its still just plain annoying. avoid it unless you just want the easy points.

Ok.. I Enjoy some small parts of it... The buildings falling and the creating weapons, But.. Ive never been so F***ING ANGRY AT A GAME!!!

Im playing it right now, and there are these enemies down the hallway shooting lil stars at me.. Every enemy is supose to die by fire, So i shoot fire bullets at it.. So i shoot it with fire bullets, but the creators want me to lift a table and make it down the hallway with that, I Lift the table and it flys into the air O.o

So this game is very Glitchy, And Annoying.

Maybe if you haven't played Superman 64 it is. I think some of your anger is getting in the way of your judgment because it's not even close to some of the worst games of all time. I understand your frustration because I had it too but I don't find that it's frustrating all the time. I've gotten used to the third person camera and aiming my throws so it's not that bad once you get used to it. Once you get used to it I think you'll be fine.

you dont even have to use the table and with the fire bullets you have to shoot their fissures for them to die :)

Fun and good game, something ive been looking for i play video games for MLG and leagues such as that so i needed something to play when my team isn't on.


However the mechanics and camera system sucks.


I like it better than any horror/survival based game on the 360 yet however silent hill and RE5 will easily top it :)

Ok, so I can go get this at gamestop for around 35$ right now with a 360 game coupon they have going on, and I've seen everyone in here say how this is a rental and not a purchase. Now for full price I can understand that, but for 35$, what do you guys think? Is it worth buying for that price. Any opinions would be appreciated.
