For those of you having trouble with "Chain Reaction"

If you're one of those people that has been swearing up and down that you've easily blown up more than 10 cars in 10 seconds, here's your problem.

I'm not saying for all, but for me at least, you can't use cheats anytime before attempting this achievement. It's fine if you've used cheats in the past on the same save file, just make sure you load up a save, but don't input any cheats before you attempt the achievement.

and since you can't cheat to get the chopper to get on the top of the building, (although you can get a chopper from the helitour place, which is far away and annoying)

I found YouTube - GTA4 - Best trick to get "Chain Reaction" achievement to be helpful.

now, make sure that you NEVER get off the car in the motorcycle shop since cops will "accuse" you to be a bike theft and start chasing you.


as long as you stay inside the car in the motorcycle shop, you will be fine.



There are 8 bikes in the shop, so stack them up to the wall,

leave one car inside, making it 9 total (nowI guess you have to get out of a car inside the bike shop. make it outside quick before any police sees you) and steal another one and now you have 10 total.


and... all you have to do now is to blow them up using rocket launcher.

I just tried that and it didnt work for me. I have not used cheats either. So I dont know whats wrong.
