How Scary Is It?

Is it as scary as condemned 1 + 2?
I want to go rent this, but im unsure how scary it is.
Or is it just mildly creepy like bioshock?

It has it's moments but then again I think Condemned 1 was the scariest game since Silent Hill 2 and that game was the scariest. I'd say it's not that scary compared to Condemned and I wasn't all that frightened by BioShock, moments there but there were very few. Condemned 2 wasn't scary at all, the fighting mechanics made me feel like a legitimate badass because of the combo system.

I would not say scary but creepy more like it. The only game that really scared be was Fatal Frame late at night with all the lights off that one spooked me

Not scary at all! Condemned 1 was a good scare. Silent Hill 2 and 4 take the cake though! Even Condemned 2 wasn't that jumpy.

The only time i get scared on this game, is not because of the enemies, But because my ammo runs out in the middle of no where and i cant find anymore ammo with about 3 of these things tryna kill me !!!! :mad:

But Nah, it dosent realy scare or make me jump :S Its more of a like.. "Wow thats so cool" Type of game.

It has its moments, it's definitely more a pervasive sense of dread I think. You KNOW something's around the corner, but a lot of times there isn't. It keeps building you up and wearing you down, THEN the shit hits the fan.

There hasn't been a game that has given me the chills since silent hill, and fatalframe (camera & ghost ps2)

However the vibrating of the PDA made me jump twice at like 4 AM (:

It's not scary at all. I jumped a little bit on Episode 6, but nothing too bad.

The game is what you'd get if BioShock and Dead Rising had a child, and it maintains the creepiness factor of both those games... which is virtually non-existent.

This game aint shit compared to Silent Hill 2 or Condemned: Criminal Origins. Condemned actually built up an atmosphere and drew you in. The only "scares" you'll get from this game are the stupid "WOWOMGLMAO I AM IN UR FACE LOL" moments.

So whats the scale of this game being scarey comparing it to the first time you ever played Resident Evil 1 and your walking down the hallway and the dogs jump through the window? Holy hell fatal frame was so flipin scary and Eternal Darkness was so creepy and one of the silent hills were pretty damn creepy too.

its not exactly scary, well nothings really scary in life after you play the first condemned and you turn around to find you are surrounded by those manicans (shop window doll things) and your pants are basically brim-full of excrement.

Yep :D... I have to agree about them manicans lol. But really this game is not scary to be honest. It has its jumpy moments :D

Not scary at all. The only way you'll probably jump with this one is if you happen to turn around when one of them jumping crab things are flying at you. Other than that its a decent game to play for the story and has an easy 1000 points to be had off of it. I haven't even really looked at the guide here on how to get them and I've just about have a few left just from going through the game. A definite rent I'd say.

i dont think i was scared once through the whole game. i do agree though i felt alot of dread, i always seemed to be about dead through the whole game. chapters like 4-7 my screen was grey the whole time so one hit would kill me haha.

if they do ever make a sequel it has the potential to an amazing game though.

I think I jumped once and that was cos I was looking in my glove box and suddenly a monster appeared right next to the car...other than that it is not really scary.

Although anyone that played past the apple seed orchard basement in Condemned won't find anything scary ever again!

Like most people said; not at all. You might jump every now and then if you let your guard down. I see people are saying Condemned has its moments, might have to pick that up.

alone in the dark has to be THE WORST game i have ever played on my 360. not scary at all and the game is just so god damn awful it makes you want to commit suicide.
