Just started a New Game + in order to wrap up the things that I missed in the first playthrough, and I'm playing about with the strategy mentioned in the Achievement's Guide sticky of initiating and fleeing 100 Monster Fights.
I'm doing this in the first area possible (outside of the Mechat crash site) on Ancient Katydids and Poos, but after hitting up ~ 20 or so and fleeing, I'm noticing that the count in my Battle Record is sitting solid as a rock at 10 (what I finished the first playthrough at).
Did a couple more to test that it wasn't just poor head math on my end to verify.
Was there a change with the DLC that caused this method to fail? I'd rather not delete the content if I don't have to, but am up for anything in a pinch.
