Rock Band Fender-compatible?

I want to play this game, and my GH3's blue button crapped out on me and I'm too cheap to buy the GH:A bundle. Is Rock Band's guitar compatible with this game? Or will I have to shell out another 70 bucks to get a new guitar?

You guys must have different versions than me, cause my RB Strat (wired) doesn't work with GH:A.
