N3 Save problem

Okay so Ive done almost all the missions for imphy and then beat them for myifee. I had saved over Imphy while playing as Miyafee, cause I figured my Imphy stuff would still be saved. BUT IT DIDNT! NOOO so i lost everything i have done. How do I get level every char to 9 and every rank A thing when I can only save one character at a time??? please let me know, I really want just one save. anyone know how?

I just created a saved game for each character to avoid any problems, and don't see any way to have just one game save.

but is it all combined data? so that i can have "every char to level 9" thing?

im just gonna make saves for each character i dont plan on over writing any...
