Chaos Mode Question

Im going to be starting chaos soon is there any recommended characters for this mode

Ya, definately go with Sun Shang Xiang or Yue Ying. Some people go with others but I find them to be the most fluent as you can plan your fighting because when you are in the middle of the crowd, it's mostly based on luck. Also, always stay on your horse until your musou is full or your renbu is full.

I have about 7 more levels to go on chaos =D already got Hu lao gate out of the way, if you need help on that level, I made a mini-guide on it in the topic titled Hu Lao Gate Lu Bu Chaos.

Zhuge Liang (sp?) is great for missions where you need to eliminate a stationary target...his fire attack is waaaay over-powered, so you can usually just run into a base, hit the fire attack, then hop off your horse and unload a musou attack to finish off whoever you need to kill. Used a combo of him and SSX to clear all my chaos mode missions. Also found it easier to grind out the level 50 achievement by doing one chaos mission after each character I maxed out...kinda breaks up the repitition a little.

Yeah I suggest Zhuge Liang also. He's great for rushing the target general because his Musou attack is strong and he starts off with one fire attack. Just get a horse with musou spirit, and the musou + fire double whammy should be enough to finish anyone.

damn i'm having problems with wu zhang plains, shu side...i think my best shot is rushing cao cao with zhuge liang, but i gotta break the gate to enter the main camp, and while i do that there's like 3-4 officers on me, not to mention the harassing lieutenants...i just wanted to know if there was another strategy i could use?

What I did for Wu Zhang Plains Shu was as SSX, I ran over to the castle, used a musou on either of the doors, at the very end of the musou, it opened the door. Then I ran inside into a corner, called my horse really fast got on, recharged and killed Cao Cao.

It's a tricky method because people will swarm you fast but with SSX's sprint, you can escape and call your horse.

lol yeah man thankz for the tip, i just did it with zhuge liang, i used a little trick on the gates...if u run back and forth u can get into the main camp without having to waste time breaking the gates, they'll eventually open long enough for u to sneak in on your horse

Me and a friend did every stage with him being LU BU and me in the background clearing out people masses with Yue Yin. I liked Yue Yin more then Sun Shang Xiang. The biggest problem stage for us was Hu Lao gate LU BU side. Took quite some tries on it.

Havent started chaos mode yet, not looking forward to Hu Lao gate after reading what alot of people have said about it. But I know Ill use SSX or possibly Diao Chan, I really like playing as her.

Zhuge Liang is A GOD.
That all i have to say.
He is 10 time better than SSX or Yue Ying

Zhuge Liang for specific officer killing missions
Lu Bu for every battle that says Lu Bu's Forces lol

if you have the above you should be fine...and for hu lao gate on Lu Bu's Forces...all I can say is have a LOT of patience, i just finished it today..after not playing this game for like 3 months because of frustration lol

i found yue ying to be the most effective character for chaos..however for certain officer killing missions zhou yu was very useful. for hu lao gate i had to use two controllers with both characters. MUST HAVE FLASH ON YOUR 90 PLUS WEAPON and i think renbu gait for your horse is very useful so when u go back to get health your renbu will stay infinite

In Xhaos i use zhuo yun. this charter is very fast and strong. For second player i use lu bu or yue ying :)

I've got 8 stages left to go now, sadly one is Lu Bu's Hu Lao Gate though. I've been clearing the harder stages with Lu Bu but seem to be running into difficulty. So Zhuge Liang and Sun Shang Xiang are good to try for the latter stages? The ones I'm having most difficulty with are the stages where you tend to get lots of enemies in an enclosed space like sections of Xu Chang. Only reason I haven't tried them yet is because I haven't maxed them.

Edit - YES!! I DID LU BU'S HU LAO GATE!!

Edit 2 - Nevermind, I managed to do it! Xu Chang on Lu Bu's side was the toughest (except the obvious) as using Lu Bu meant a really weak guy that follows you is the fail target. Did it with Sima Yi in the end, rushing up the western side to get to Cao Cao before they'd even broken the first gate :D Now to just max everyone..

Well i just finish da game on chaos mode & i did it with LU BU on all levels. I max out all his skills to 1000 & had a horse all max out to 500 except for jump it was at 489. It took me a day & half to do it but im done now. Just have 2 lvl everyone to 50 & i'll have a 1000 gamerscore in it, hell yeah!!!!
