Beat SW2:Empires earlier today, enjoyed it, so I went and traded it in at Gamestop, picked up SW2...but it doesn't seem to be working. Started story mode on Ginchiya first, cleared out everything I could find, but the gates wouldn't open...checked the book and it says to beat all the guards around the gate...but there's nothing left to fight. So, I decided to try another officer, but when I hit the main menu option the screen just went black...waited about 5 minutes, reset the system. Chose Ieyusa this time around...again, can't get gates to open, so I keep running around and killing the available enemies...until I get to Nagamasa and his two guards, who've now been beating on me for over half an hour...I'm invincible to everything in the stage..but I can only beat up soldiers, none of the bosses seem to take damage at all...and for some reason, the pause function has also stopped.
Didn't see anything close to this mentioned here (though it's painful to try open ALL the threads on a 14.4k dial-up connection, so I might've missed it). Any help would be appreciated.
