This thread is for supplementing the Main achievement guide (would be too large). For the interest of Keeping things orderly (and on the first page is necessary), The first few replies will be dedicated to the various in-depth guides for:

"PPO'd"/"Anger Management" - Fury/Gamma Canister locations
Comic locations and their unlocking missions
Subway and jump challenge locations
Feats (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showpost.php?p=925662&postcount=2) - Note that these are mini-objectives in the game. You must complete all of them if you want 1000/1000 anyway.
"All that Glitters" (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showpost.php?p=925676&postcount=3) - 23 Gold medals in Mini-games

Feel free to add to this, as I may include it on the first page. If you have a faster/better way to do something, post it here!

There seems to be no way to complete the "defeat 25 enclave assault groups" feat once you evict the Enclave from the city. You should have taken care of the city better, because now you have do do it ALL OVER AGAIN if you want Patron of the arts.
Investigations are currently ongoing to determine if a mission or mini-game spawns Enclave assault groups, so don't erase your save data yet... you can join the experiments and get a mention in the guide(s).

Fury/Gamma Canister locations

I would first of all like the thank Bluegoggles from wikicheats for his home-made (and royalty-free) map with all of the canister locations. The link is here:

http://www.wikicheats.com/images/9/97/Hulk_MapV1.jpg

I found 1 gamma canister was out of place. If you go EXACTLY south from the United Nations flags, it is on the block before you hit the highway on the northern half of said block. You should be near a subway and the block on its left has a fury canister.

Edit: aCzarX Found the missing canister AND one I forgot. Thanks aCzarx!

ALL THAT GLITTERS/GOLD MEDAL FOR EVERY MINI-GAME
This one is above all, frustrating. The tasks aren't impossible, but sometimes you have to do things JUST perfect to make it within the time limit. There are 23 in total.

THANKS to xtremerocker for some of these details!

See Hulk Run p1 - Race through the checkpoints
GOLD: 1:30
A normal checkpoint race
***************
See Hulk Run p2 - Race through the checkpoints
GOLD: 1:30
A normal checkpoint race
***************
See Hulk Run p3 - Race through the checkpoints while locked in sprint mode
GOLD: 26 points -- TIME LIMIT: 1:10
This is better than is sounds. Don't get caught on the cars in gridlock and you'll be fine.
***************
See Hulk Run p4 - Smash the targets to race through the checkpoints
GOLD: 2:10
My vote for 3rd most frustrating. You have to smash the targets before going through the jump ring. It's very easy to overshoot things, and Hulk's move recovery time is abysmal. Go through it once to get a feel for the course. Rush when you can and be careful on the last 2 rings. After passing through the 3rd-to-last ring, you can sprint to the edge and hit the targets, but one of them will stop you dead. turn the corner tightly and sprint to the last ring.
***************
Whack-a-mole - Smash the targets
GOLD: 16 -- TIME LIMIT: 1:00
This is horrible. First off, move back a bit so the mace can land. grab it. you MUST perform an overhead smash with your mace to smash a target. The problem is he takes so long to swing, you'll run out of time before you get more than 13. The easiest way to do this is to line up PERFECTLY and QUICKLY so that you knock out 2 in a row. avoid ones that look like they've been out for a while. If you miss more than 1 target, restart.
***************
Waka waka - Collect the checkpoints
GOLD: 150 -- TIME LIMIT: 1:30
VALUES: Y=10 B=5 R=2
Yet another frustrating one. There are no real strategies, but I went left and took the rooftops where there are a lot of yellow markers. My best score was 150 after about 45 minutes of failure.
***************
12 Days of Destruction - Complete the objectives within the time limit.
GOLD: 5:00 remaining...for this, you have a checklist: (note - these are out of order)
12 Vehicles
11 Fire Hydrants
10 Food Vendors
9 Army Soldiers
8 Rooftop A/C units
7 Bus Stops
6 Trees
5 Water Towers
4 ASAC Units
3 Tanks
2 Army Choppers
1 Kyklops

Each task completed gives a 60 second bonus. I recommend sprinting on the sidewalk and jump-punching the water towers and A/C units.
***************
Not-So-Friendly Fire - Defeat the long-range enemies
GOLD: 45 pts -- TIME LIMIT: 1:30
VALUES: The bigger they are, the more points they are worth.
Simply take down enough enemy forces (Soldiers, Tanks, Humvees, and APCs) To meet the goal within the time limit.
***************
Bullseye - Throw the poles at the dartboard for points.
GOLD:120
In 5 throws, you must chuck the respawning lamppost into the wall. Standard dart board rules apply (inner ring = 3x multiplier). Scoring 45 points or more with any throw nets a bonus toss. This is easily the 2nd most frustrating mini-game. To line yourself up, center the board in the middle of your screen and go back the the darkest line in the cement. Fine-tune your alignment and use the camera view to adjust the height. from this angle, I usually go with Hulk's head (full breath height) a bit below the bulls-eye. Add 1 fully-charged throw and adjust as needed.
***************
All Fall Down- Defeat a fully-upgraded Kyklops
GOLD: 2:00
Watch its movements carefully! When it starts to attack, it will lower it's shield for half a second. Practice your timing for chucking a large car at it when he does this. When you hit him right, he'll go down. Unleash a combo before it and its shield get up.

Alternate strategy thanks to Krillgar and Pedle Zelnip

I was only able to beat the Kyklops with a different combo than was recommended in the guide. Using the technique provided I was able to take down the Kyklops in 2:07 over 5 times in a row, only taking 5 seconds to get the gauntlets. Trying without the gauntlets, I was able to take him down in 2:02. Both times, his health would go away around 1:40, but it would go through the animations of him getting up and falling down for another 25 seconds, taking me past the gold medal time.

So what I finally discovered is, using gauntlets, hit him with X, X, X as soon as he falls down. Then hit him with X, X, Y, Y to get a 2nd punch going back up and taking off another 1/8th of his health. You should be able to get off two of the second combos before he regains his sheilds. Doing that combo, you can kill him after he falls for the second time. He will still get up a third time, but falls back over dead around 1:47.
***************
Shopping Spree- Take Betty on a $10,000 shopping spree. Don't let the Army get in her way.
GOLD:3:30
VALUES: G -$3000 Y-$1,500 O-$800 R-$400
Pick up Betty and take her to a store. While she goes in, protect her from the army until she is done. Repeat this process until she spends $10,000.
***************
Hulk the Cabbie
GOLD: 400 points
VALUES:
Red: +10 points, +10 seconds
Yellow: +20-30 points, + 20-15 seconds
Blue: +40-50 points, +25-30 seconds
Pick up the cab with its lights on and take it to its destination. Avoid reds because they just waste time.
***************
Destruction in a Single Bound - Jump from rooftop to rooftop as they collapse
GOLD: 3000ft
Sounds simple because you probably do this all the time. But in this case, you can't climb a building wall if you over/undershoot. I suggest heading south east and jumping due south when you hit the top of Central Park.
***************
Unfriendly Neighbor - Cause as much destruction as possible within the time limit
GOLD: 1:00 -- LIMIT: 2000 pts
A destruction game with a twist: only destruction in the designated and switching neighborhoods count. Use the jump-forward-punch technique.
***************
Destroy as many vehicles as possible.
GOLD: 0:35 -- POINTS LIMIT: 25 cars
A good explosion in the middle of a group of cars will blow up a bunch in the immediate vicinity. You won't have enough time to build rage, so try running through a group until they blow up (the MUST be black husks to count). Throwing cars is also an option for kabooms.
***************
Rage against the machines - Destroy as many tanks as possible
GOLD: 8 -- TIME LIMIT: 1:30
Obtain the Weaponize tank and Hostile vehicle use upgrade before doing this one. Throw a car as hard as you can into one, or get one to low health and use that one to damage the next (by weaponization or tossing). Keep in mind a weak enemy vehicle, once picked up, is destroyed.
***************
Air Raid - Defeat as many flying enemies as possible
GOLD: 45 -- TIME LIMIT: 1:30
Build up a good amount of rage while beating on the shmucks/tossing items at choppers and unleash a full rage thunderclap.
***************
King of the Mountain - Stay on the rooftop for as long as possible
GOLD: 1:15
Just stay on there, be careful when you jump, as a normal forward jump will send you off the edge.just wail on enemies with punch and thunderclap combos and toss some Barbaria into the dropship. The fun part is when the Bi-Beast shows up.
***************
Strongest One There Is - Defeat all the enemies
GOLD: 8:00 remaining
Sprint into the weaker soldiers and build up rage on the others. Reminder: picking up an enemy and chucking him into a vehicle or other enemy damages them both.
***************
Hulk Smash! - Cause at least $50,000 in damage
GOLD: 1:00
Use the small-jump-forward-punch-parallel-to-the-wall technique and you can get over $200K.
***************
Ashes to Ashes
GOLD: 1:30
Use the jump-forward-punch wall technique around the sides of the building. A building takes slightly more damage when a new wall is punched out.
***************
Hulk Smash: Lights out
GOLD: $100,000 -- TIME LIMIT: 1:00
Do the wall technique again, and keep in mind that lights increase your multiplier (and they are house of cards weak).
***************
Hallelujah! - Defeat soldiers
GOLD: 40 -- TIME LIMIT: 1:00
Sprint into them and knock them aside. If you have trouble seeing one, pick some thing up, use target lock in the general direction and do a light toss (no need to waste time charging it).

I've gotten all 100 Gamma Canisters, but I'm stuck on 99 Fury Canisters after visiting every location on the map... anybody noticed any Fury Canisters mis-marked as Gamma Canisters? Or misplaced? Or just hidden in particularly nasty places where you can easily fail to even HEAR it?

SUBWAY LOCATIONS

Here's an easy tip to help find all the subway locations. Google "Gamespot On The Spot Videos - The Incredible Hulk" and open the first link. This is a video demonstration of the game for Gamespot. The video runs about 8 mins long...at about the 4 min mark, the guy opens up his map to show how big the city is and he has (almost) every subway location already found. Just pause, mark a waypoint and locate them all.

I say almost because he doesn't show the south part of the city and will not revel 2 subway stations - Wall Street and Chambers Street.

Wall Street is on the South East part of the city, just North of the long bridge leading off of the Island.

Chambers Street is one block North of the Bank of New York Building. South West Part of the Island.

If someone wants to add them to the Map, it would be helpful for others. I'm just too lazy...lol

Thanks to needagoodname for the heads up!

Re: the subways

Even if you have not unlocked the subways, they still show up on your mini-map. (The one in your HUD, not *the* map.) The subways are also very evenly spread out, so all one really has to do is look around approximately where they don't have a subway and keep an eye on the mini-map. Pretty easy 10 points here.

I don't know what the proper Internet etiquette is, but I took the fantastic map fixed by aCzarX and kicked it up a notch by adding the subways, both for collection purposes and as points of reference.

Unleash a combo before it and its shield get up.I missed the Gold by 0.65 of a second, but this another method that I believe should work and that I just got unlucky. (Hey, after finally getting "Struck Out", I consider the game lucky to still be in one piece.)

Immediately find a car and equip it as gauntlets. (If this takes longer than 10 seconds, restart.) Then stand directly in front of the Kyklops. The Kyklops will smash down and if done properly, it will activate a button-mashing mini-game in which you push the Kyklops over. When the Kyklops stands up it will twist its arms at which point you need to back off just a little. The Kyklops will fall forward, leaving its eye exposed. I attacked with X, X, X for the first combo and the second combo X, X, charged Y. Repeat all steps until victory.

Note: When I tried X, X, charged Y on the first combo, the Kyklops immediately stood up. It seems that both a certain amount of damage and an implicit time limit are at work here.

Wow you guys don't even give me a chance to update my own guide(s). Every time I log on, another person has a map or complete list of stuff!

If anyone's interested in experiments, I have at least 2 things I need to clear up:

-How to get Enclave assault groups to appear/count toward the feat AFTER forcing them out of town
-I need someone who got 1000/1000 and did NOT play Ironman (aka has Shellhead AND Patron of the arts...art unlocks for having the save file, but I need to confirm that it can be unlocked/you can get the achievement without renting Ironman).

It took me a moment to realize that the rings were added to the map. Would it be possible for you to add the symbol to the map's legend?

Also, the comic book covers should end up on a map. If they can fit on the map with everything else, great! But I suspect there will soon be overlap.

I've found all but 1, so I know what to look for. I'm just not seeing the ring where the map has it marked. I'm trying to see if anybody knows any landmarks or more specific directions since this is the only one that has given me trouble.
Since it says to look down low, i've tried running around the streets while looking up and looking down from surrounding rooftops.

Same with me. I have all but 1 of the jump challenges, and I also know what to look for. I've been to each ring on the map, and all but one had a ring for me to jump though (and I knew about searching high and low before I moved on).

Of course, I also have a problem with the Gamma canisters on the map. I was able to get all Fury canisters easily before the edit came out, but I wasn't able to find the Gamma canisters (although, I've seen that others weren't able to, but was able to find all Gamma canisters). After the edit, I was able to find one Gamma canister I was missing (the one in the north that was in the wrong spot before), but I was still missing one (and the edit for the canister that wasn't on the map in the south wasn't there when I went to the area, so I think that location may be wrong, because I never picked anything up there before).

Just a note about those canisters: I wiped my save and did them, confirming each one and they were STILL hard to hear, no matter how many times I went over the spot or how high my tv volume was. (imagine a wii version where the sound comes from the wiimote speaker).

I once spent 10 minutes on a single canister before I heard it's chime. Other I would hear, but not realize they were in a shack, building, or water tower.

Moral of the story: You may THINK you cleared it before, but you can always be wrong.

As far as jump challenges go, I always found them hard to see in day OR night, and on top of that, they only appear when you get near them. Keep hustlin' and you'll activate it.

Good Luck

The rings for the jumps weren't hard to see for me. I was able to easily find 14 of them (I found a few of them without even using the map). The 15th one was kind of in a different spot (the one that was shown to be kind of southwest to One Times Square was actually exactly south of it, on the other side of the block south of that). So I got all of the jump challenges now. I'm still missing the final Gamma Canister, then I just need to focus on the comic books.

Ring #9 in the written guide was a little off. I updated the map with the correct location. It's actually near the top of a building about 2 blocks south of the subway station.

Might want to add a comment to the comic part

just got my 1000 and i only had 11 comics unlocked with 4 still locked, so i guess you only need 10 to unlock classic hulk. since there isn't an achievement for comics

The upgrades screen says 5 comics for Classic Hulk, not 10.

This should be a new post, because I just noticed that even after the new locations added for the Gamma canisters, the map only shows 99. The original at wikicheats only showed 98 (with one of them being in the wrong spot). The new one everyone has worked on fixed the one that was wrong, and "added one that was missing", but it's still missing one.

The Subway next to the "Missing from 1st Map" canister is in the wrong spot. Should be on the building to the west.

In the 99 Fury 99 Gama club. Only found 20 or so before using the map, so have only a few places they could be, but still not seeing or hearing anything. Darn anoying

So, after restarting the game, and using the map to find the canisters at the beginning, I was able to find them all. But since I started over, I have to get back my upgrades, and get back to the part I was at the story again. I decided to get the jump challenges out of the way as well, so I only have the subways (which I'll do when they get unlocked), and comics (same as subways) left.

Just want to come with a pointer for the Whack-a-mole mini game. There are only 16 of the targets in total, once you've destroyed one of them it's gone and you won't see another in it's place. With that in mind, you have enough time to line up a charged shot (hold y) that'll knock the 2 out even if you miss. Just don't move around unless you've knocked the 2 out, then move on to the next 2. Should have time to get them all that way. If you miss them, don't worry, line up better and wait for them to pop up again then whack em. Patience seems to be the key for it and not the frantic running around which I tried and failed quite a few times before I realized how it was actually set up.

Waka-waka:
I'd recommend fair use of the punch that drives you straight forward in order to collect some of the harder yellow rings. Aim for yellow rings, that's entirely necessary. Reds are a waste of time, if you miss one, continue on.

Whack-a-mole:
All the targets are spread out evenly in a circle around you. Hitting two at a time is almost essential, but having a sense of when and where the next couple will pop up is necessary. If you miss one or a set, continue smashing on. There's a decent chance you'll be able to smash it close to the end. However, the popping up appears scripted. If you miss the last one with 15 seconds left, it most likely will not return.

All Fall Down:
This one gave me no end of trouble. I've already made a suggestion in this thread, but I wish to update that. Once you tip the Kyklops over, it stands up and falls over. On the ground, I found that I could lay into it with (x,x, charged y combo) twice and this seemed to do enough damage. Perhaps this was simply luck on my part, I finished with less than a half-second to spare!

Hulk the Cabbie:
I had trouble with this one too. I picked up yellows and made my way north. I picked up the northern most blue cab and dropped it off, and then collected the remainder of the blue cabs. I worked my way down the yellow cabs. Basically, you can't get caught up in traffic, and you can't accidentally pick up the wrong object. (Picking up people instead of the cab is rage-inducing, thanks priority programming.)

Hulk the Cabbie and Destruction in a Single Bound I had to do last. But I took a break and suddenly, they just clicked, nailed them first time out tonight. So do remember, take a break. These are designed to be frustrating.

I got the shellhead achievement when I got to threat lvl 9 and defeated a S.I. Hulkbuster when they started to come after me. Also destroyed the Hells Kitchen neighboorhood during threat lvl 9 to get the Master of Disaster as well as the World War Hulk achievements. Was good fun doing it that way. Fully ramped up Thunderclaps are very destructive and just plain awesome hehe.

nice guide. now that i beat the game i will focus on doing all this stuff whilst fighting against the game freezing up alot!!

BTW the easiest and most reliable way to get Shellhead is to simply play Iron Man for a couple minutes, make sure it saves, and start Hulk back up.

You guys should probably know that after playing this game, you unlock the hulkbuster armor in the Ironman game. just an interesting fact.

The best way to complete Whack-a-mole is to grab the hammer without moving your location. Press and hold Y and you'll smash the first two targets. Stay in the very center and rotate counter-clockwise. Line up with where the targets are going to appear and then whack them as soon as they do.

You'll have to wait for them to appear each time, but there is plenty of time.

Just stay in the center. If you get too close, you'll miss the front target.

Could it be the one by Times Square? I know on the maps it was put in the wrong location. It was actually one block east and south.

yes, just pause the game and go to the map. hitting the left or right on the d-pad will group missions you've already beaten. highlight over one and press 'A' to replay it.

The lightning one is rough. Have a hard enough time just trying to get to the top of the building without getting hit. Once up there not much room to dodge. Pretty much got it because I jumped out of the way (thinking damn, I'm gonna have to climb that again?!?) and the lightning hit the antenna, destroying it.

The army guys in heavy armor/mechs. you get them by raising your threat level to 2 or 3.

I'd agree with your tactic, but with a slight variation. I did the "get gauntlets, then stand in front wait for the button mashing game" variation, but I did the XXYY combo then a XXY(hold) combo. It only took two runs of this for me to get him, and I beat it with more than 20 full seconds to spare (I believe my time was 1:38 and change).

Using cars is just too risky as they don't do very much damage, sometimes he'll drop his shields for less than half a second which makes hitting him with them hard, and for that matter, where cars spawn is random. I had one go where I didn't see any cars on the main street, and I had to retreat back to the corner and round it before I saw a single car.
