View Full Version : Idea - News submissions?

Maybe a spot where users of x360a.org can report a news clipping or link to something that would be relavent for our own news postings on the main page. The article itself would have to approved and retyped by our own crew or something.

Could also have like a limit on how much one person can submit, so as you don't get spammed.

This might make whoevers job it is to find news a little bit easier if they have something sitting on their desk already.

Just a thought.

Members can submit news at any time in the Submit forum, even says so in the "Submission Rules and Guidelines" thread. :)

Omg I checked for info on this, failed, but I didnt actually read the entire thread so I missed that part.

I feel dumb now, but I shall submit news pronto to make up for my mental disorder.

What do you mean by 'Staff members'? Because technically I'm a staffer, but when i went to that submit forum i couldn't see anything. Is related to the forums, in the sense that only Moderators and above can?

I only ask because if it's news that people are submitting, I need to see it :)

Heh, dude you need moderator style powers to see what is in the submit forum. So if info you need is in there you should ask Webb for permission to view it - or that he (or someone else) passes it onto you on a daily basis.

Yeah, if the news is interesting enough I'll throw it up. I check that forum for submissions all throughout the day (since I don't actually WORK at work) so I won't let anything go unnoticed for long.

But yeah, like jack said, double check with Webb if he can get you access for that forum alone.

Ah i didnt know you could submit news in the submit forum..dam now im gonna have to stop messaging Webb on msn every 5 minutes when i hear something new, and i know how much Webb loved it. :(

Who are you kidding? Everyone knows how much you love being sent links on msn and having to check if its real news or not. :rolleyes:
