As I've noticed many threads asking the same questions I'll simply post them here
Is This an easy 1000?
No.
Period.
XD This is a fan's game, looking at it from an achievment point of view its not great, maybe 100 for beating the main story on normal, but there's a lot of time consuming, difficult tasks, one to rent perhaps? But don't look to pwn 1000 unless you're comitted
Fighting 101
How Do I transform?
When your Ki bar is full just whack RB and boom! Transformed
Should I Transform?
Yes, It boosts attack power, and helps Ki to regenerate more quickly, this can be a godsend during fights where its dangerous to get up close
How do I use Aura spark?
Whack the left bumper with a full Ki Guage
The Opponent Always Teleports!! I can't hit them!
Sadly the higher up the difficulties you go, the less punches you'll be throwing
Computers are cheap, and they'll teleport, guard nearly anything, so you can just about forget about the X button, focus on charged Y attacks, Heavy smashes, Ki Attacks etc.
How Do I get a Z ranking?
After each fight you'll see a big list, everything on this list will give you a star or two if you manage to do it during a fight. The more stars you get, the higher your ranking.
So my advice is simply do as many different things on the list as you can, as well as see as many drama pieces as you can.
The easiest ones to go for would be: Heavy Smash, Super Attack, Ultimate Attack, First Blow, Finish opponent within 90 seconds, Finish opponent with an Ultimate Attack, Dodge an attack, Use the aura burst chase attack
You don't need to do all of these, but the more you do, the better your ranking will be.
This is too hard, how do I win?
Perhaps sounds pathetic, but this game IS hard. My advice is fight cheaply, if you don't then the computer will. Constantly use Heavy Smash and <- B OR keep using Aura Spark, hit them in the air with up & Y, whack the LT and do the button mashing attack.
Watch out, when a computer is on its last legs, they'll spam their super attacks and ultimate guard, its not strange to be facing someone and see them pull off 12 super attacks in a row!
How Do I Destroy the Background?
You need to pull off an Ultimate Attack perfectly, it should then show the cutscene where the opponent is trapped in a white light and falls away. The background should have changed to a more....ugly....background, win the match and get the achievement
Best to try it with Vegeta
Edit: KrazieNoob HAS confirmed you can do it on Z chronicles =] its very much a random achievment, play through single player normally and if it doesn't unlock, hunt it down on Versus
NOTE: I just found this out, it can only be done on VS, online or local, but not during Z Chronicles, this explains the problems many people are having
How do I unlock other difficulties?
By finishing the game on Normal you will unlock Hard & Very Hard, by finishing the game on Very Hard you will unlock Z
Where are my Frieza/Cell Saga Achievements?!?
After finishing the Cell saga you return to the Frieza saga to play as Bardock, simply play through every chapter and you'll unlock all ally characters, character super attacks, saga complete achievements etc.
What's a Drama Piece?
A Drama Piece is a little clip that'll pop up if certain conditions are met during a fight (Lose so much health, land a big combo) these will interrupt the fight and give either you or your opponent a boost in Health, Attack, Ki, etc.
How come they don't work for me?!
Don't worry, Drama Pieces will work for you, if you meet the right criteria, they seem to always save the computer's bacon and not yours, but rest assured they will work.
How do I unlock Drama Pieces?

What does the "Time Runs Out" for unlocking Drama Pieces mean?
I've not got a clue, it doesn't effect the drama piece in any way, fufill all the other criteria and you'll still unlock it
Drama Pieces are annoying me! Can I turn them off?
You cannot turn them off in single player, however in local Vs you can both opt not to choose any, and online you can choose not to use them
What's Survival Mode, why does everyone say its so hard?
Survival Mode is when you choose a character and have to beat 100 computer opponents in a row. It takes roughly 2 hours to get to fight 90. Why people say this is difficult is that the computer difficulty easily triples when you reach fight 90, meaning you could have just put all that work in for nothing
There are achievements for getting 100, 50 & playing both types of survival mode
Can I save and take a break during Survival Mode?
'Fraid not, you can pause during survival mode, but there's no way to save your progress, and no checkpoints either
I think I can do it! But...any tips?
My characters of choice would be Vegeta or Broly
Vegeta, when using his Final Flash ultimate, almost never misses, it charges up very fast, making it easy to power to SSJ & finish the match quick. If you look at the leaderboards, most top players are Vegeta.
Broly is a powerhouse, Choose whichever special you preffer, then spam his Heavy Smash & <-- B, that can do about 1000 damage each time, meaning the fight could be over in seconds. However as computers get smarter, I'm unsure if this tactic will keep working.
However it all comes down to which characters you feel more comfortable with
Will there be any DLC?
There's confirmed DLC on the way =] it will add the ability to level up characters and add RPG elements, as well as allowing you to take the story on with a single character.
However its also been confirmed there will be no new characters =[
Anyway, any other questions ask and I'll add them, anything you can see that's wrong, say and I'll correct it =]
