Absolutely...I frigging hate that it happens, but why does it have to happen so often?

You might get lucky, though, If you complete a mission and it freezes on the load screen, sometimes it had saved by then and you don't have to re-do it.


but when going for collectibles, definitely ALWAYS save often (when you find a subway nearby, use it immediately)

I've played the game for hours on end.
I've been playing it every day since last Friday.
I've had it slow down on me, doing ThunderClaps while on TL9...

Never froze on me once.
NOT ONCE. I knew I was the lucky ones, but damn. I didn't think it was that bad.

For me, it's almost always on a "loading" screen that I freeze. I have one of the first generation Elite systems...what do you have? (or, when did you buy your system/did it ever go in for repair)

Ah man, thats the worst. When that happens, more than often i never play the game again. Not because i automatically hate the game, rather i don't wanna redo what i just did..especially if it was hard. The worst is in sports games, if you go quite a few games without a save then BAM.. what a waste..anyways, thanks for heads up with this one.

I'm getting a lot of freezes too, and I'm also using a first-gen Elite... starting to look like a pattern. Anybody getting freezes using 'ordinary' X360's?

It has frozen for me at least twice and for me, it has some major slow-down issues, particularly when there's alot going on screen.

Fuck. The game just crashed *twice* on me while I tried to destroy the SI Hulkbuster and save Betty. That's a pain in the ass twice over.

My game froze on me also but only once and that was when i was climbing a building. im using a first gen reg xbox 360 i believe

I rented it from GameFly and I had some serious lag time in the first mission and then it locked up in the second. Now it won't even load the mission when you first get to NY. I was hoping it was only my copy from GameFly.

BTW, I have just a regular 360.

I was having no troubles before reading this thread. I collected all of the canisters with no problem. Then I started going after the landmarks. TWICE within 10 min it froze on me!! I was so glad that i had went after the canisters first. One thing I did deduce was that it always froze when the text(saying what landmark token I had just collected) was on the screen and when I was jumping or running towards another building. After I realized this I would stand completely still as soon as I collected the landmark token and I had no trouble with freezing problems after that. Still better to be safe than sorry and SAVE OFTEN!!!
