Broly VS SS2 Teen Gohan, any pointers?

Hey all, well this is the last fight I have to complete on very hard then achievement unlocked :woop:But I'm finding this fight to be a nuisance because of these following reasons:

.Broly's ultimate big splash type maneuver epic fails, and Gohan just blocks it 90% of the time

.I try to run away and regather some of my ki but Gohan keeps pursuing beating the crap out of me

.Most of the time while trying to connect with a heavy smash, Broly's fists swerve over Gohan's head. He then keeps attacking me with many heavy smashes easily with no trouble and my health bar depletes in no time. :(

All I can do I guess is use ultimate Ki guard more, but with my ultimate move hardly ever working, and launching an air pursuit proving to be so hard (legs go over his head) im not sure how I can pull off a victory =/

haha ive just been playing it on easy normal an hard to unlock the Broly howls drama scene an it just not happen for me an on hard he just uses the heavy smash all the time do you have the broly howls scene?:confused:

Oh yeah, I did once lol. Sorry, can't remember exactly how I got it to happen at the time. I'll edit this post if I found out though.

Dont use ultimate attack,it sucks and never works. I 've done it on Z,you got to run away from him,if he follows you,just hold A to protect,if tryies to smash you ,warp behind him and keep running away until your ki gauge get full and get the Aura spark. Then,wait for him and hes close enough,press LB to warp and smash in the back,and press LT very quickly to start a big poursuit attack where you must press buttons as fast as you can.If you do this twice,I'll be fatigued and there you can throw a ultimate attack or the combo Heavy smash(Y+RT)+special attack(<-- + B) to do 820 damage. You got to be patient and wait for your ki gauge,he is so small and fast that you always miss in CQC. Near the end,he guards all the time and tryies to combo you,so protect and counter (hold RT and press B wenn hes close),it should do around 120 damage.

Broly v Teen Gohan is the hardest fight in the game. I Z'd it by sparking my aura alot and smashing gohan into the chase-button-bashing-scene where you should be able to get 70+ hits easily. I'd manage to get 2 or 3 chases per spark aura. Broly's kai attacks fail most of the time.

Rest of the time I spam rush and heavy attacks with a healthy amount of dodges thrown in if he retaliates. If he blocks just hit X and A to do a throw, should work if you are close enough and he doesnt counter it by throwing as well.

To Z it you will need to get the first hit, have at least one chase scene, and if you wittle him down to a tiny bit of health (or if you're lucky and you managed to fatigue him) you should try a directional kai attack or the ultimate attack for a special/ultimate KO, which should get you a Z.

That's all you have to do, I managed to get it to work for me, everytime I did the <- B he'd use the Ki guard, which meant he wouldn't have enough to teleport away or aura spark, handy =]

Cheers for all the tips and advice guys. I finally did it :D After numerous attempts, I got the little rascal down. Just with an inch of health left :eek:

Now to go back over it all on Z mode, fun fun fun! :eek:

And as far as the pointers go, if Gohan is blocking to much string your combos with a Mega-Crush. That usually works for me. Also, don't rely on the Ultimate, the Back+B super is much more effective, especially if it's charged all the way. Also use alot of pursuits, and keep going at him.

You'll get it eventually, I know Brolly is a pain in the ASS, but once you get used to him I'm sure it'll be much easier.
