i CANNOT BEAT THE PROFESSER ON THE 1OTH LEVEL, WITH THE BARN BURNING DOWN. i AM ABSOULUTLY KICKING HIS ASS BUT CANT FINISH HIM WITHOUT TIME RUNNING OUT. i KNOW THE GUIDE SAYS TRY ROUNDHOUSE KICKS, BUT THIS TO ME SEEMS WORTHLESS, BECAUSE THE KICKS NEVER MAKE CONTACT AND i ALWAYS GET TRAPPED AGAINST A WALL. i AM DOING THE ASSASSIN DIFFACULTY AND CANNOT GET PAST THIS, IM ON THE 40TH TRY OR SO. ANY ADVICE ON HOW SOME OF YOU PASSED THIS?

Very easy, don't use the roundhouse kicks, those are absolutely useless, just do the combo hits and block, it's very easy, and do take downs on him.

in the achievement guide thread a couple people say you can beat the bosses on trainee, then afterward when there is the cutscene where you do the button combos fail that, quit and continue campaign on assassin. they said this will give you credit for beating it on assassin, but i haven't tried this so i can't confirm. hopefully it works because the boss fights are soooo repetitive and boring.

Easy my ass, are you high on crack or heroine or something, I kick his ass, and just dont have enough time to finish him off, and i saw that post to about the trainee deal, but im not willing to try unless someone confirms it first.

It is easy, and that trick you're talking about does work.

Are you refering to the same trick you said was useless two posts ago? This is far from easy in my opinon, I have passed it however, barely at the last second. I used a little bit of everything,but found that the hard kick with the x button made contact much more than the hard kick with the y button.

I found the best way defeat him is to not let up attacking always throw a different combo of attacks without stopping, blocking wastes time, he will constantly cover up and you will build up adrenaline quickly, you will no doubt cop the odd hit or two but you will regain health on the next take down you perform.

While doing combos keep a eye on his head he will sort of be looking at the ground once you have landed a good set, and he will be open for another one or two heavy punches.

Also if you pull down on your left stick while attacking a few punches he throws in between ur attacks will miss and leave him open. Using what ive mentioned I beat him on assassin with 26 sec remaining. hope this helps you!:)

No, I thought you were talking about that trick where you do it on easy and then at the end you change it to assassin.

for me this part was super easy since i have been playing it on assassin without the need for the trick posted in another thread, but my brother was having a hard time with it. Me and him can both confirm that trick works. Load up the 2 min fight in trainee then whrn you both are outside let him kill you. Once he kills you go back to the main menu and continue campaige. This time select assassin and complete the button part when your outside and you'll get credit for beating that level on assassin!

I used mostly the XYX combo, then followed with an X kick. It was super easy, and I was building adrenaline in no time.

The easiest way to do it is to back him into a corner, and mash X+Y so he can't attack back. You can get a few hits in, and your adrenaline increases quickly.

the easiest way is to play the fight on trainee then when both of you go crashing through the barn wall and land on the snow outside let him kill you buy failing the button sequence and go back to main menu and click continue and choose assassin and just finish the button sequence on assassin and your done. Now thats the true easy way lol but i never had to do that since i am that good ;):drunk

This same thing was happening to me. What I ended up doing was using either XYX or XYY, both of which stagger him with the third hit. Then do your Hold X or Hold Y. Rinse, repeat. Just be very aggressive and stay on him, and make sure to get your environmental hits for the damage. Once I adopted that strategy, I got him in no time.
