Can anybody say is it doable or you have to be hardcore Ninja Gaiden player who isn't playing anything else than this?

I got to the end of Ninja Gaiden Sigma on Normal (Didn't beat the boss, thanks no shop in a volcano), and I'm playing Ninja Gaiden 2 on Acolyte, and I'm finding it quite in hard in some places, most notably every boss starting with Chapter 2. If Itigaki's wife can beat this (Which I've heard claims she can), she's freaking crazy.

oops , forgot to mention, all the "big" bosses are hard, most human size bosses are easy, u just have to wait til they come down. and then kick there ass, which is easy when youve got a lvl 3 sword

I think it is quite doable with a bit of practice. I am dying here and there on acolyte mode but that is just cause I need to get back into the groove with ninja gaiden. You might have to spend a little bit of time with the game but the hard modes are by no means for "hardcore" players only.

Acolyte stops getting hard at the beginning when you have the scythe. :). I played through it, got the weapons...Major part I had the most trouble with was first form of final boss...That's where I go my 100 continue achievement on. :)

Here is a little tip dont know if it has been bought up before but when you return to the village (forget wich chapter) you will have to get the key to open the supply room look to the right there are three targets (square with red circle) shoot them 1.gives you blue 2. gives you yellow 3. gives you red and can be shot more then once.

Its the same as in NG1 if anyone remembers still works

I'd definitely like to see a video of that.

If mentor's a kick in the nuts, can anyone say what master ninja is like, or has NO ONE gotten there yet?

I beat the first NG on hard and haven't touched it in 4 years. My friend got NG2, put it on Acolyte for his sake and I ripped it a new one. I tried Medium on NG2 too and thought it was easier than the first. I guess it just comes with practice.

I started the game on Warrior, as I had played the first Ninja Gaiden pretty thoroughly. I'm finding myself getting hit a lot more often in this one.

I'm only on Chapter 5 so far, though. The Worm Bot thing was really annoying.
