Award Showcase?

I was just wondering how to get your award showcase (or check what awards you have) display? I mean I submitted some info to an achievement guide and submitted two missing achievement pictures which have now been added however I seem to have no awards.

It's difficult to tell if you were the one who submitted them (something that I think should be changed). And you don't get an award for "submitting some info to an achievement guide". You get an award after submitted 3 different achievement guides.

Not if you're me!

I've had 35+ people submit information in the past week alone. I'm not going to PM people every time I update the site. They'll get their mention in the Achievement Unlocked post (which I will be doing bi-weekly) and they'll receive the awards if they should. I'm the only person working on this now (used to be 2-3 people) so I can keep much better records and not get things confused and get people left out.

[M]ike, you did get credit for the submission and will receive your award in a few days. (aka whenever Krazie does the next batch of awards.) - Currently you have no awards, hence no showcase. Once you get the submission award it will appear on the left bar under your gamercard. But like Sanction said, minimum for guides is three full guides.

But I think there should be a check or an X next to an achievement showing whether it's been submitted yet. It would help a lot with the black and white ones. :P

Well, that would have to be done manually, but since I update the stuff as soon as I check the Submit forum anyway it wouldn't serve any purpse; I'd have to remove it like a minute later. The additions go live immediately, so the only delay is in how often I'm able to visit the site.

Trust me, the system we have now is the most efficient. I realize people would like an immediate sense of "yay, I submitted something!" in the form of a PM, but that can be a nice surprise every 15 days on the AU post instead. :)

I think not knowing where you're at is good for the site and not at all detrimental to you. If you don't know, you'll keep submitting to be sure. The site will fill much quicker that way.
