Cletus

I've looked absolutely everywhere I can think of and cannot find any way to kill Cletus in the gun shop. Does anyone have a way to kill this whackjob?

Try standing behind the display when he shoots at you and pop out and shoot him when he reloads after about six shots....if you get shot there should be wine behind one of the counters :uzi:

I don't know if this helps, but I was unable to kill him so I opened his doors and left, eventually he died, but 3 new psychos were in there, so I just left and went along with the story again. Eventually it said they had all died so the shop no longer had psychos.(This isn't useful if you need a shotgun immediately, but if you just want more firepower later it helps.)

Yea I tried hiding behind that display but he kept on hitting me.

Yeah i had to keep rotating around it....also sometimes he'll duck behind the conuter and it's almost impossible to hit him

I was able to defeat him using the sign hiding strategy you suggested. However, what I did to help out was to run immediately to the gun shop after getting to the mall. He isn't there yet if you go there before anything else and you can load up on some guns. (Especially useful if you've leveled up a bit and have a bunch of inventory.)

So, I actually had 2 shotguns and 2 rifles at my disposal. Stand behind the sign, whip off a shot when he reloads. Also, if he shoots you, he takes a drink and you get a PP ticket. I zoomed in on his face and it gave me 9k for the picture of him. Dunno if that helps anyone.
