1000 Announcement About Closed Servers and Games You Can No Longer Complete

I have been asked by alot of you if you can add certain games like NBA Live 06 for example to the clubs because you can no longer get the online achievements because EA closed down the servers. I have decided to allow such games on the clubs with an exception. I will be looking at the dates of the game you wish to add if you have achievements earlier then when the servers closed by a few months or more you will not be able to add that game to the club because you did have time to complete that game well before the servers being closed. If you have dates after of course or close to the servers going down your name will be added to a separate club with the total new max for that game.

edit** They will also count as a game complete for the leaderboard as well.

I have decided as of right now to only do 2 clubs which the servers have closed they are NBA Live 06 and Def Jam: Icon.

For NBA Live 06 you must have started playing this game after Sept 2007 I will not accept anything before that date.

For Def Jam: Icon you must have started playing this game after May 2008 I will not accept anything before that date.

Well it's good that your letting people join the clubs but it does kind of suck for the people who played before the dates, being victimised just because they didn't get the achievements at the time, people who played the game after the dates surely had the chance to play beforehand.

But meh I'm sure your aware of this, just wanted to give my opinion.

yeah in my opinion i dont think you should do this because some people actually have 1000/1000 in this game. and it is unfair to them. If you did not get online achievement, then too bad play a different game.

I would like a list of game that I cant get the full 1000/1000 for. Like Rapala Tournment Fishing, Battlefield: Bad Company ect. I dont want to rent a game by mistake and find out later I cant get the Full 1K.

I'm glad this has been added as I bought NBA Live 06 this year on a clearance table unaware that you can no longer get 1000GS and I am still annoyed that I never had a chance to get it. At least this helps ease the pain a bit.

Im pretty sure the NBA street homecourt server is still up cause I got 1k a few days ago.
