It's not getting amazing reviews, but not bad either.

I don't see why anyone is giving it not very good reviews i think it's amazing ! so much chaos ! the gameplay is still amazing and still challeneging ! i love it so far ! and i'm only on chapter 3 ! There's a pretty big jump in difficulty from acolyte to path of the warrior ! definitely was surprised at some points !

One word:

AMAZING!

I'm in love. It's SO fast paced, the gore and level of detail is astounding. The art direction is identical to previous DOA/NG games, so it stays true to its roots.

Bodies remain where you killed them, I went backtracking 15minutes afterwards, and saw bodies laying around exactly where I left them... blood, guts, and all!

The framerate can dip a smidge once and a while (not often), and overall the camera hasnt bothered me much.

Definately a fantastic game!

PS: I Started on Acolyte seeing as how im not superb, and it is a tad easier than previous installments. Glad they did that, hopefully I'll eventually get good enough to beat the game on hardest and get full 1000G.

I'm not far in Ninja Gaiden 2, but so far so good. The graphics are amazing, the level design is great, and the action and gore are cranked to 11. The best part about the game is that when you start to get bored a new weapon or area is introduced to keep things fresh.

The camera can be frustrating, but I can't be too mad because the game is moving a million miles per hour. Sometimes there are screen tearing issues, but again the game moves so fast. The difficulty level is insane, but I've always liked that about the series. The game never feels cheap, just challenging.

Overall I'm glad I purchased the game. There will be replay value with harder difficulties, looking for crystal skulls, weapon achievements, etc. Also, I'm hoping for some sort of downloadable content. Ninja Gaiden 2 looks like it will keep me busy for the start of the summer. If you're a fan of action games pick this one up.
