Endless Setlist Question!

I need to know if I do expert Guitar and my brother does Hard Guitar will I get Platnium. Because I can do it on expert and he most definently cannot.

I'm afraid not, only the lowest difficulty counts so you would only up with Vinyl Artist & Gold Artist.
