If you go to the 'Split Sides' you will see a well known British comedian, Ricky Gervais. Now he may not be quite as popular in the US as he is the UK but this is still a nice touch. Personally, I don't think he's funny. Especially as in one of his gigs in the GTA IV game he makes fun of cancer patients, which disgusts me. I was wondering if anyone else has watched his performances?

Ricky Gervais is win. Extras= best sitcom of recent years.

Hadnt heard of Williams, but he was pretty funny.

As for cancer patients, you should have seen him on tour last year. Cancer patients would be the least of your worries. He was awesome.

I just saw the one where he talks about how people call him fat and "going commando". Only found just one kinda funny joke in there...

I think part of the problem at the Comedy Club is that the laugh tracks don't seem appropriate to the jokes being told. I think they should have used a live audience rather than inserting a laugh track on top of a studio recording. In its current state, the comedy at Split Sides is a little awkward.

They should have used Lee Evans, even if he swears a lot atleast he's funny and has made me laugh to tears on many occasions

Lee Evans, now that would have been cool, he is definitly my favourite and is the funniest guy on the planet bar NONE, if you haven't heard of him or haven't seen his stuff then i highly recomend it, he'll have u laughing so hard u... well..um..u know???

Great point as well about the laughing sounds in the game, real audience would have been much better, even tho it would have been an exclusive gig for the developers.

I reckon they should have got Russell Brand his stand-up shows are the best around, but despite not being a huge fan of Ricky gervais I thought he was helerious

But tbh you are being very naivie complaining about the cancer patients joke, it is exactly that a joke in a very controversial game, there are much worse jokes out there compared with this i have been directly affected by cancer my grandad and my aunt have both died of it in the last year but its just a joke chill out

Lee Evans is funny, but Bill Bailey and Ross Noble are both far better.
Gervais is okay, has some very funny jokes here and there in his endless projects, but he's too arrogant for my liking, can be quite grating. Funnier than the average bear though.

Yep I was gonna say Bill Bailey too, one of the funniest people alive.

I think he's pretty popular here in the States too. I think he's hilarious, but I've read a few articles talking about how much of a jerk he is. It's also sad when you find out a celeb you like is a total tool. But that's just what I read, I hope it isn't true because he's great

Too bad that there is only 3 routines for each of the comedians. At least at the other place you get a ton of mini shows. I'm not even sure that I've seen them all yet.

The only comedy show I can actually remember was the really, really horrible one where all the guy did was make fun of/talk about his intro music -.-

I think the comedy is pretty good, Mainly because its a game. They are not gonna get the peoples best material of course. Katt williams is pretty funny tho but yea it would cost loads of money for there good material.

Yeah that Simpsons episode was pretty rubbish.
Have any Americans seen The Office though? Like the proper version, not your moronic, unfunny remake of it. Because that's Ricky at his best in my opinion, both as a writer and actor, brilliant stuff. I got a tiny bit tearful at the end of the christmas special.

I thought ricky was ok, but Kat was just garbage. Rickys fat routine was much better then the cancer one, and 1000 times better then the stupid monkey aids one. Personally I think they should of used Russell Peters. I love that guy

Yea, they show it on BBC America here. It's not really that good. I find British comedy too dry.
