Anybody able to snag it today?

I was hoping I could grab one today but it seems in my area they haven't actually arrived at the stores yet. Usually when they have them in the back a couple days before release I can sweet talk a copy out of the cute girl at my Gamestop, but no dice today. She said they probably won't even get the shipment until tomorrow moring but she'll call me when they do.

Anyway, did anyone get lucky? I know supposedly the Seattle area has it today because the creator & Major Nelson are supposed to be at some mall signing copies today from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

No luck here. My gamestop said they wouldn't have them until tomorrow, and the way they talked it was only if I had pre-ordered a copy. I live in a small town so it may be that they are not getting as many here. Good thing I pre-ordered.

I went to Circuit City, they told me they wouldn't have it until Thurs. Gamestop said tomarrow. and Wall-Mart said I've never heard of that game haha!

My girlfriend told me they (Gamestop) dont get it till tomorrow. Sucks balls but its ok, I have class all day anyway. Hooray for extra credit towards trade ins AND an employee discount of 10%. Im gonna get this game dirt cheap.

I just picked it up from my local EBGames. :woop: I haven't had a chance to pop it in my 360 yet, but I will later on tonight after dinner. They only had 2 copies left when I was there this afternoon... they will surely be sold out tonight.

i preordered this game over a month ago, i guess it only got popular afte the demo or something. Lucky for me I always preorder games even if they arent popular! I figure gamestop employees need a certain amount of pre orders or something or they look like they suck. I even pre ordered dynasty warriors empires! But yeah, helps cause if you do it months before, you can pay like 15 bucks a month and when it finally comes it feels like you are taking candy from a baby

Someone on my friends list got his yesterday at EB. They had the Executive Producer of the game there, he got a signed copy! He's been playing it for over 24hrs.........hope he has zombie germs by now!

Yea, sitting on couches or going into restrooms. Weird. I just got to my first save cause I just started and had to restart a few times to make sure I got a good picture of the gas station exploding.

I just got back from getting it I looked every where around here and no one had recieved it yet EB Games said their truck never showed and Best Buy said the same. Wal-Mart said that it wouldn't be released until August 22nd (BS) finally got it today after I finally talked the guy into checking the truck that just showed up for it. I hope it was worth it.
