Who's getting this?

I loved the original one on the Dreamcast and would love to go back and play it again but with achievements! One of the best fighting games of all times and arguably the greatest Dreamcast game being available for the XBLA seems like a great gain by MS.

Who else will be getting this?

Hard to say...i mean it was cool but with SC4 coming up, whats the point? The SC series have stay very close from #1 to #3, SC1 on live arcade would be like releasing Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance when you have Armageddon playable online... They are a little different but overall very similar.

I think if i get it it will depend of the price...

Im glad they go back at a little more classic, because lately on the classic side, it have been horrible(i can't remember the last classic they released , it was a long time ago) But i have to admit on a fighting side of game, i would have love Killer Instinc...

Depending on Price, Achievements and proximity to the release of SC4 I might.
Would prefer Soul Blade though, the one before this for PS1, I loved that game <333

I've never played any soul calibur games. I'm not really into fighting games. I'll try the demo, and perhaps I'll be persuaded.We'll see what happens. It seems like a really popular game to be released on xbla, so I'm sure people will be pretty happy.

Defintily getting, i still play the dreamcast one alot. One of the best fighting games but i dont like the fact that yoda and darth vader are going to be in it. Spawn was ok but seriously Dx

Might get it, depending on the price. Best dreamcast game by a mile for me. Some of the achievements look proper hard which is a turn-off. When is the release date?

I have Soul Blade, Soul Calibur 2 and 3.
but i never got Soul Calibur 1 cuz i didnt have a dreamcast

man the achievements are pretty easy actually! i remember when i used to beat this game daily for like a month just cause i could on ultra hard and actually NOT lose a round,
hmm and i think the hardest sounding one is the ring out achievement. - "Finish Time Attack Mode with all Ring Outs" i actually never tried that, so idk how hard it is, i use ivy and i pretty mastered her so pretty sure i can perfect this game or at least 185 it

If it's 800 points then I'll probably grab it but I don't think it's online so I'm not highly anticipating this title. I was really looking forward more to Samurai Shodown 2...

I mean I love this game but my 360 is hooked to my monitor in my room and I'd rather play it against other people than by myself.

depends on the price mostly, but really how long do i have to enjoy this purchase before SC4 comes out and i forget that i even made it? lol. i'm all about the classics but when SC4 is here my life spent on games is over.

I'm actually pleased that there's no online for this, for a start very few people would play it, and it'd mean the mandatory lot of online achievements that you can't actually gain without boosting (a la Bomberman Live).

800 points... I'd think about it for that, but with SCIV out soon I really don't know. For 400 points I'd certainly get this. Never played it before, but loved Soul Blade and SC2 and 3.

I've been wet for Powerstone on XBLA since the beginning.
I hope the rumors speaks the truth.

i for certain will be gettng this game. i too like many remember playing this on the dreamcast when it first came out and i jsut can't wait to see the new enhanced graphics and sound. this is hands down one of the all time greatest fighter games
