Gamers take notice! Want to play as the Red Hulk in the upcoming "Incredible Hulk" video game? Head to your local GameStop, or to GameStop.com (http://www.gamestop.com/hulk), and snag the GameStop-exclusive Xbox 360 version of the title.
On June 13, the same day as the "Incredible Hulk" movie hits theaters, Hulk's latest game arrives for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PC, Wii and DS! But remember, the 360 gamers who hit up GameStop will be the only ones with access to Red Hulk. Choose wisely, gamers!

Thank you for that!
Now I know where to get it if I end up buying it.

Should be good, but being its a movie game I don't think having the Red Hulk as a playable character justifies buying it.

Damn beat me to posting the topic. Anyways RED HULK FTW! Not gonna buy though. About the movie is it a remake of the last on or a totally different one? (prays for special Red hulk achievement and Pic)

This is a totally different movie. It actually follows the who gamma radiation exposure origin, so it should be great. Also, it seems to be a split between the regular marvel U and the ultimate U.

gamestop is the only one offering the red hulk in its selling game version of the hulk video game? could someone please clarify this cause this sounds very confusing.

Couple answers:
The game is basically a sequel/re-do of "Hulk: Ultimate Destruction" for the original xbox which was AWESEOME. The developers call it a "spritiual sequel", borring most of the gameplay elements from that game (they even brought back the boxing gloves made of car and rage overload moves).
It's open ended NYC (see GTA IV), and the story missions involve the movie (like all other hero games based on movies), but free-roaming NYC as the hulk with destructible environments = F-U-n.
Yes, only gamestop will have the edition with the red hulk data (either on-disk or free DLC pass code).

wow i still haven't played hulk: ultimate destruction. i gotta make sure i backtrack when i get a chance. but as far as red hulk goes i better make sure that somehow i'm able tograb a copy of that. then again if red hulk may become available in the marketplace for download i could jsut wait on that. i'ma do some more digging around on that and see what i find.

The Red Hulk is actually on the disc. There is no code to input and its available right away. I both work at and bought my game from GameStop, the disc looks like a normal disc but the case has a spot declaring the Red Hulk on the front and a special screen shot of the Red Hulk on the back the other versions don't have (both printed on the paper, no crappy sticker like usual when your "exclusive" is either a code or unlocked later in the game).
This time I actually think exclusive MEANS exclusive....its actually kinda shocking....

Same here, on all fronts (GS employee as well!).
Though, the box and instructions hint at downloadable content. Perhaps for those who didn't buy it at GS you'll be able to download the Red Hulk skin later. I personally hope they'll do that for the Green Scar as well.

Yes, he's in the Extras - Secret Characters section, playable from minute one. It appears it's on the disc, as it's not a "secret code" or anything.
its delicious

I'd like to thank my local Gamestop for having no idea how to conduct business. Fat lot of good my pre-order did when Best Buy across the street actually had copies of the game. I might miss out on immediate access to the Red Hulk, but at least I get to play the game today.

Well, your GS must suck. =\ I know there's plenty out there that do. We got our copies today.

I suspect this is the case. The only employee at this Gamestop during the day looks like he eats chicken heads at the carnival.

That is awesome and I'm going to try to get transfered there!
laseroption: I noticed the same thing, as long as they cost money like the Spider-Man 3 characters I'll still call it a good deal. (I feel like such a jerk when I tell people about the pre-order characters like for Spider-Man FoF or the Lego games and its just a tiny paper card for something unlock early from normal play :()
Edit: Not that I want everyone else to miss out, just its nice for once to actually (or approximately) deliver what was promised

i'll have 2make sure i strongly consider buying this game or not. i was gonna rent it but my curiousity has the best of me with wanting to own a exclusive rare game such as the one gs has put out. if push coems to shove i know my friend would probably loan me or let me buy his for a good deal. i hope this doesn't become a habit for gs as i perfer renting games only.

I was thinking of picking up this game soon. I'll probaly get it from GS.
Since the GS version gets Red Hulk, do they lose any playable charaters or anything else? Can you choose to play as the Green Hulk instead of the Red?
