This is why the Battle of Guan Du" special stage won't trigger

because the guide is WRONG.

Start the scenario "Divided Land." Pick one of Juan Shao's provinces. He controls the Large yellow section on the top of the map. Once again, proceed the the battle phase and skip your invasion. You will then be prompted to enter the Special Stage "Battle of Guan Du."


it says to pick "divided land" when actually you need to pick the battle of Guan Du. which unlocks AFTER you clear divided land.

Thanks for that--saved me some headache I'm sure.

Just to clarify a bit:

You MUST be playing in the scenario Battle of Guan Du. It can be done either as Cao Cao or as Yuan Shao, but it may not trigger after your first turn. I had to skip about 4 turns (as Cao Cao), and it eventually triggered for me.

Yeah, the achievement guide didn't work for me.. there wasn't even a Juan guy at all.
And it didn't trigger in Divided Land for me. It was Guan Du.
