Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie THEORY

I dont believe the achievement is real so here are my reasons

1. "Sleeping Rockstars" = they were taking off for 30 days
2. Why would it be only worth 10GS?
3. Why put the word "Lie" in it?
4. The odds of you killing a developer would be gigantic.
5. "Let Sleeping Rockstars" come on they just made GTA IV!


I think it could just be a time release achievement after 30 days and you kill someone and you get it and then [poke fun] the description says "Seriously".

Did you do it in 10 seconds?
You have to be really quick

It could be a PGR4 style mystery achievement where you have to solve a riddle first, or poking fun at Gears, and require you to get 10k kills.

Does anyone show as having this on MGC yet? That would be the real test. If someone has it, then it is achievable, if very unlikely

That would be crazy if it secretly was 10k kills since it is 10GS? We'll eventually find out.

im sure by now that alot of people are wondering about this achievement and this is probabily the 18th post on this topic..as i said before,there will be a contest or somthing realated which features a couple of rockstar developers..people just need to wait after all its only 10 gamerscore..

Kinda sux that I was the first to get to 970 then first and only to get to 990 [ a week later damn L10 takes a long time to get ] and now because of this achievement i'm sure everyone else on the list will catch up and probably get this achievement before me just cause it hasn't been released yet...

I think Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie is a reference to something, nothing more, like Assassins Greed. The Achievement is what the achievement says, "kill a rockstar developer in a ranked multiplayer match". It's gotta become viral because of the amount of people playing online, it's impossible for Rockstar to play us all. Just sit tight, and they will start playing eventually, hopefully...These threads are beginning to become a real pain in the ass...

I personally figure it will be a viral achievement when it does decide to go live. They're probably just waiting for some xbox event where you can play against the developers. Then you'll see the achievement all over the place.

At least, that's how I figure it'll go down.

The way it works is, if you kill someone who has already gotten the achievement, you get it too. It just gets passed down the line. I got it on the first guy I killed on my first game. This is what i heard from another thread on this site.
