Island Hopping Stunt Jump

I'm doing the stunt jump from which you jump from Alderney to the second island. I succesfully cross from island to island, yet it always says "not good enough." Any tips on how to land this effectively?

You need to land on the patio section, and you need to land on your wheels. Personally, I took a sport bike, backed up around the corner leading up to the road, sped down the road, and up the ramp. I could make it to the other island no problem, it was just landing on my wheels that took a few tries.

Yeah you need to use the sports bike... the NRG 900 or its called something like that.
push forward as your speeding up to the jump but stop pushing forward just before the ramp.. and hope you land on the other side on your wheels..

When i did it i hit a lamp post and landed.. but it counted it :)

Lol, I tried it about 10 more times with a sports bike and always landed on my head or didnt make it all the way across. Finally gave up and managed to grab a SuperGT. What do you know? First try, I land it. :o

I remember that one. Took a few tries, and I think I ended up doing it in an American Muscle Car in the end!
