Cannot Connect To Ranked Multiplayer

Has anyone had any problems with connecting to multiplayer matches? As I haven't got into a single one yet! :(

I've had it get stuck at the Loading... screen several times - only way to get out is to restart the console. Kinda sucks. :(

I had a probelem where on ranked it would make me host a game but not join one.. :( no1 ever got in,

Then i tryed from the hosted game 2 find another of the same gametype and it joined me 2 a game

i think it may be your NAT. Thats what was wrong with my xbox when I got back home for the summer from college. Run an internet test on your xbox and look at the NAT (last one) if it is moderate or strict (like mine was) you need to change it to open. just google search changing NAT for (your router model) and follow the steps. After I changed my NAT from strict to open I have had no problems hope that helps guys

Yeah i had this same problem the first day i started playing multiplayer but i guess it just fixed itself because now it works pretty damn good.

yeah i had the same problem for the first week the game was out, it kept saying it got disconnected. but now i can get into games most of the time but i almost always end up as host.

My NAT is open anyway, I opened it myself, let me just double check it...

Hmmmm, that's strange. I opened the NAT a while ago, and now it's went back to Strict. Damn it.

you have to type in the IP address in your router, find UPnP or whatever it is (i think thats right) and enable it. make sure you SAVE the settings and then your NAT will be open and stay open. I haven't had any problems connecting since then.

Have u tried joinin like different multiplayer types? I know i may sound dumb, but when i try to play noose it does that dissconect thing like 5 times. SO i join a race, quit join noose and it works again.

argh i've never gotten into a ranked game either. I can play regular games but nothing ranked. I know someone's playing because I'll hear the voices but then it sends me back to the game world. I tried emailing rockstar but they haven't replied. I know my NAT is open, it always is open. I even tried to put my xbox's ip out of the firewall but because of DCHP it gets a new ip everytime i turn it on so it's almost pointless to try that. I woiuld love to try to get any of the online achievements but it seems i will never get to unless rockstar fixes this bullshit

yeah you have to change nat to open so you will be able to connect with everyone
