100K Kills - All With One Character?

So for the 50K and 100K achievement do I have to do this with one single character or can it be done with multiple ones?

try to check the message boards before asking a question, 9 times out of 10 someone has asked it before and it has been answered. Put like the man said before me check that topic, or to make it short it all adds up throughout your missions and characters

100k with one character? Yea right.

I beat every character's storyline in both modes and that didn't even get me 100k.
