disapointed with multiplayer ?

the single player is so good on this game, but i think the multiplayer is awful

1. its so laggy
2. some people seem to have unlimited health
3. it always disconnects you from the server for no reason.

does anyone share the same view as me ?

nah...everything runs pretty smooth for me. My gripe with it is the terrible matchmaking, party stuff, and the fact that you can't choose to be host for ranked games.

1. It doesn't lag for me...
2. Reason I highlighted because I totally agree but headshots take care of that problem.

I hate the multiplayer, i think its a crap, sluggish, tacked on piece of s**t. Just think of all the extra stuff they could have put in the single player if they hadn't wasted time on the awful multiplayer.

The things i hate most
*not being able to choose to host ranked matches when nearly every multiplayer achievement depends upon match details
*Not being able to play all the ranked games with friends, especially bomb da base, hangmans noose and deal breaker, that seems totally stupid to me.
*You load an entire clip in to someone and they simply turn around and kill you instantly
* Deathmatches barely involve skill at all, whoever has the best gun and/or the most health will win, so all a game involves is running around looking for weapons, health and armour, hoping that when you come across someone, you will have the advantage. If you do win that fight of course, you immediatly need to go and find health again or you will be killed by the next person you come across. Boring as hell
* Races that have about 100 people in them, no matter how well you drive some moron will just smash into the back of you and send you flying off course. Winning a race is more about luck than driving ability. Stupid.

I haven't had a problem with lag or being disconnected. And my brother used to complain about #2. Until I told him how to aim for the head with auto aim on. Now he doesn't worry about it.

I think the multiplayer is crap too. The mechanics of the game don't go well with it. Some of the objective based modes are kind of fun but the rest is just obnoxious. Matches like cops and crooks last all of 15 seconds. That's fun.

Think it would be better if the setup to the match was random like in Halo 3.

So if your in a party of 2 it looks for other parties of two to match up with.

Nope, I love GTA's multiplayer. Playing Cops n Crooks and Team Deathmatch's with friends is awesome fun. I haven't experienced any lag myself and also had no problems with the servers.

I think the multiplayer is brilliant, if you can find a room with no lag its just about one of the best multiplayer experiences there is, especially Cops 'N Crooks.

I think the multiplayer is fantatic. My complaint is probably about matchmaking in party mode... you can end up like 10 vs. 2 people.

I have to agree with you on this one mate. Probably the worst online gaming ever. I played a couple of hours due to convincing persuasion from my fellow members here on this forum and I regret it.

I dont have lag or disconnections, but this multiplayer is just...broken...

My friend and I played some team deathmatch, complaining about random things but continuing cuz it was supposed to be so great. But it is NOT FUN and a huuuge disappointment. I got my achievement for 20 pistol kills and all team wins and I dont plan on playing a gametype that involves killing other human players AGAIN.

I still play coop but I do wish I could play it ranked WITH FRIENDS

The only thing I really like about multiplayer is just messing around in Free Mode with people. Oh, and getting disconnected all the time. I enjoy that too.

I have only two problems with multiplayer:

You cannot join co-op in parties
And you cannot choose to host games

If you are having a hard time killing people because they kill you first, I have a tip. If auto-aim is turned on, then just aim at the person, click the button to aim closer, and then move the cross-hair up around their head and one bullet hitting their head will kill them.

Well I have a tip that is honestly true, which is kinda sad.
Holding the RT button while locked on not doing enough damage for you? Well, repeatedly press the RT button to increase damage and kill much faster!
