What is Dwaynes problem?

So it looks like I've been victim to some kind of Dwayne friend activities Glitch, and subsequently am not going to get the Liberty City (5) achievement this play through. I choose to kill Playboy X and responded positively to Dwaynes email which should have unlocked him for friend activities, but when I call him all I get is his crap voicemail. Has anyone else come across this problem?

I thought the same thing for a while, but you'll get it. What happened to me is he gave me a call after I had talked to Cherise, his ex girlfriend (see the random stranger guides in the forum for information on finding her), and later after that, he had sent me an e-mail wanting to hang out. We did, and then he became my friend and I could call him up regularly. I don't know if you need to help out Cherise in order to do this, though. Dwayne might've sent the e-mail beforehand. I forgot to check my e-mails and had like 10 unread.. so yeah.

yea make sure to check the email. you should have one from him then when responded positively to will start the friendship.

oh and you don't need to hang out with cherise in order to do this. the email should show up shortly after killing Playboy X

Yeah I got the one email from him after killing Playboy X and getting the safehouse for it, but I have not gotten any emails from him since and that was a while ago in the story for me, I'm currently finishing up the Phil Bell missions in Alderney, I've finished a little over 90% of the game including all the random characters which is why I finally just came to the conclusion that something got glitched somehow. Thanks anyways though fellas.

I too have killed Playboy X and responded positively to his e-mail. I know this because I have responded positive to every e-mail I've received in the game.

I've also done everything with Cherise.

So, I'm either glitched or I never received the e-mail (I can't remember all of them).

If anyone knows anything about this let me know, I'd really appreciate it.
