To start, I searched many times and could not find anything pertaining to this. But if this has already been discussed somewhere, please do point me in the right direction and feel free to delete.

But anyway here goes. Tonight I booted up my game, and after it loaded up, I was in my safe house as usual. I proceeded to walk out the door, downstairs, and out the door of the apartment building. I walked into the street and went to jack a car. As soon as I hit the Y button to take the car, these three horizontal lines popped up across my screen. The best way I can describe them is little boxes lined up next to each other forming three horizontal lines, two running across the middle of the screen and one at the lower part of the screen. The inside of the boxes in the lines seem to be black, and when you pan the camera around, the inside of the boxes changes color going from gray to black to white as they pass over the environment.

To try to solve the problem, I exited to the 360's menu, and restarted the game. Loaded up my save and walked outside. No problems for about a minute, then the lines popped up all over again. Tried restarting the system all together, no help. And now when I load my game, as soon as I'm standing in my safehouse, the lines are there right away.

I am completely stumped on this one, and it's kinda frustrating me. I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem. Or if anyone knows about this problem and maybe knows how I can fix this, any thing I could do to solve the problem, I would so appreciate it. I'm just sick at the thought that my save file could be corrupted, and having to start a new game. But I don't know how It could be corrupted, I haven't done anything to cause corruption in my save file.

Anyway, if anyone knows anything to help me with this problem, I would be so so grateful for any help!!

Thanks in advance.

only time i have had lines pop up on my screen numerous times was right before my 360 got RROD.

if it is a corrupt file, other then deleting it, i don't know.

you can always try to clear your 360 cache.
