I cant seem to set find the right config. so both xboxs in my house can play together online with out connection issues (drops/lag) I am using Verizon Fios 15meg. please help

I've tried DMZ Hosting, port forwarding, and mixtures and combinations with both IPs but when one's NAT is "OPEN" the other is "MODERATE"...really frustrating

my buddy has brought his xbox over to LAN with me, and all he has to do is plug into my router...

I have a basic 4-port dlink DI-604 router, and an ADSL connection.

we can play in a LAN game or online in the same server with other people. We both of course use our own gamertags, maybe a stupid question but: are you using 2 XBL gold accounts?

Are you using the wireless adapter?

I've done this before, he would hook up in his bedroom and play and I'd go into the living room and we'd play Halo on XBL. I have the Wireless router and he was directly connected to the modem.

Yea, there really isn't any trick to it. Just Call Xbox Support and they will give you the right UDP and TCP ports to open up to allow the NAT to be set to Open. Worked for me. We have 4 Xbox 360s running off of the same network, with 2 Wiis and a PS3, and I never have any issues. I will post the ports on here later when I get out of work. I believe its UDP88, UDP1032, TCP88, TCP1032.
