just went out for a bit of a piss up with Dwayne
however when i came out of the bar and got into a taxi
no destination choice appeared, thought hey thats a bit weird but im sure this guy will take us home, 5 minutes later and im still just sat in the back of the taxi going round liberty city
he seems to take the same little route around a few blocks
yer think ima get out soon
just an interestin little glitch

i did state this happened when i came out of the bar and was drunk...
and even if i got in a cab beforehand it still comes up asking you where you would like to go
to make it more clear
1. went to the bar with dwayne
2. went inside bar with dwayne and got wrecked
3. came out of bar
4. staggered over to taxi
5. got in as passenger
but the taxi driver just drove like normal, without asking my destination

At least you got a cab!! I got wasted with Packie, and no cab would stop. There were about 5 in an intersection with no passengers, but none would pull over for me. I hailed them(pretty funny drunk talk) but no luck. Racists.

lol think thats what happened to me actually only i got in somehow, these liberty city cabbies really are gettin harsh recently
if you actually do manage to get in they take you wherever the fuck they want

One trick I learned is that you do not have to hail a cab first before getting in one as a passenger. You can just hold Y to get in any cab at any time as a passenger (except those times that due to poor design of robbing/passenger being the same button you jack a car and get the police pissed at you).

You can even do this if the cab already has a passenger.

What you want to do is get in front of the car either by running in front of them so they hit you or if they are stopped at a light it is real easy. Once in front of the cab just hold Y and you will go rip the existing passenger out and the cab is yours.
