Social Club Question

Ok, so i completed the game 100% on Monday evening and my stats on the Social Club are still saying 82% complete, so i thought i would start a new game and play the story again. But if i start a new game on a separate save file would that then revert my stats on the Social Club back down to 0%?.

How does the Social Club work regarding save files?.

no it will not put it back at 0% i did same thing and it says im at 91% just don't overwrite your 100% save

How does the Social Club know which save file to track the stats from though?.

Also for the marathon stats, do all the save files combine to add to a combined total or do they only track form one save file.
